Happy belated Father's Day dad. I actually don't even have to say it because I know it was a happy day for you it was another year you got by guilt free. It was another year you got to pretend I didn't exist, didn't have to come to terms with your mistake. Another year you didn't have to recognize that regret for having me in the first place. I've made it easy for you “dad” I haven't once said anything, but you know that don't you? Because you’ve never once said anything either. I won't guilt trip you for leaving so long ago. I won't get mad at your family because you chose them over me. I won't get upset for all those times I was waiting for you by the window in my pretty pink dress wondering where daddy was and when he was coming home because now you have to live with that dad. I'm done living with your mistakes so every Father's Day when you get gifts from your sons I hope you realize your missing one. I hope you regret not seeing me ride my first bike(I never had you to teach me I had to go to camp when I was 12) , I hope you wish you where there for my first date, and more than anything I wish you missed seeing me grow up into the person I am today because I am caring and beautiful and compassionate.
