watching  her  money  fly  away  from  her  ,  annoyance  lingered  in  her  head  as  she  rolled  her  eyes  .  she  pushed  herself  up  as  magnus  decided  to  get  out  of  his  car  .  she  always  wondered  how  he  could  be  so  tall  .  his  frame  hovered  over  her  and  sometimes  it  would  bother  her  ,  especially  if  she  wasn't  wearing  heels  high  enough  to  catch  up  to  at  least  his  shoulders  .  arms  crossed  over  her  chest  she  watched  him  intently  .  "  so  you  want  me  to  find  you  ,  is  that  it  ?  "  tilt  of  her  head  ,  a  sirens  smile  upon  her  lips  .  she  could  tease  him  until  the  sun  came  up  and  yet  he  would  continue  to  deny  she  had  any  affect  on  him  .  she  would  be  lying  too  if  she  said  the  man  before  her  didn't  affect  her  ,  but  he  would  never  know  that  .

breath hitches as asher brushes ari's hair from his face, the tender action making his heart fumble over itself. a small smile dances on his lips, eyes softening. he wants to protest, to claim that, yes, asher has saved him. but then, asher offers up a proposal that makes ari's jaw drop. a pink blush rises to his cheeks and he swallows thickly. "you…you mean that?" voice is soft, woven with disbelief. "you'd fake date me?" ari's read about it in books, seen it in the movies - - but he knows himself. he knows he'll fall too hard and too fast for someone who doesn't truly want him. and asher? oh, asher - - he's beautiful and charming, how could ari not fall for him? ( he's already trying to bury this pathetic crush, knowing it'll only grow ). despite himself, ari jumps at the opportunity. his response is a little too eager, nodding with a smile. "i'd like that. i'd love to be your fake boyfriend." and he wonders…what will this entail?
