     He was hesitant to reveal his arm to the other, hoping to avoid it altogether. But he’d been caught. At least it was Ignis who’d found him. He lowered his gaze to the hand stretched out to him, remaining silent for a long moment. With a sigh, he drew his arm from his back, placing his wrist in Ignis’ hand. The crimson orb pulsed softly.

     Zack was well aware that Ignis knew nothing of materia, seeing as it did not exist on Eos. So, an explanation was given before Ignis could even ask. “That… is an orb of magic from my world. They come in different colors to signify their different types. This color means means Summon. With it, I could summon powerful beasts to aid me in battle.” A glance to the orb. “I don’t know what happened, but this materia… is sinking into me. I… I think I might be absorbing it…” 

     His voice was dripping with fear. Once it fully merged with him, what would become of him? Would he perish? Would he be granted new power? Take him over? The fear of the unknown had never bothered him… until this incident.

     “I don’t know what to do, Iggy…”

Eyebrow furrow when seeing the other's hesitation, something that filled him with negative emotions. Maybe he didn't trust him enough or not even at all? Ignis keeps calm and does a small signal with his stretched out hand to encourage the solider before considering taking it back. "Do you prefer to speak with one of the others? I could suggest Noctis to come and will leaving you both alone if that's more favored by you." The last thing he wanted was making Zack be even more uncomfortable around him.

Just as he was about the get-up and looking for Noctis, the other reached out his own arm to show the problem. That was indeed strange. Ignis takes carefully the hand in his own, daring to not touch the orb while getting a closer glance. He could sense the powerful energy that came from it. The adviser listens to the explanation and nods in agreement, understanding their worlds having an immense contrast. Something that was enthralling and almost disturbing sometimes. The concept of controlling the gods. Ignis shakes slightly his head, concentrating back on the arm. "How long do you have that? Did it might happen while you shifted to our world?"

it was another one of those long nights wasn’t it. He didn’t even notice he has passed out in his lab again and it was getting worst by the same. but even so, he just needed to get this work done, as long as no one really bother him, but — with the whole passing out, he knew he was going to be set back hours. that was his own fault – he hated himself. But even so, it’s not like Jarvis didn’t try waking him up — maybe it was best he slept, though sleeping on his table (again ) might have been the worst thing he had plan.

Even so, it didn’t take longer before he felt someone touch him. groaning a bit, he could only hear the other voice and shakes his head as he kept his head down for a moment. “ Five more minutes..” he said lightly only to be shakes again, and moving a bit, he lean back into the chair and looked up at the other male. “ I can go get my back popped if I need to –  and maybe my bed is just for sex –at least it gets used.” he teased and shakes his head for a moment. Reaching over to grab the coffee for a moment. Taking a sip he couldn’t help but yawn. “ Dinner?  — oh, Nope.” he pulled away and looked at him and rolled his eyes. “ I have to much to do – I don’t have the time to do anything, sleep even is getting in the way.” he said only to lean back a bit more into the chair and shrugged his shoulders. “ You don’t have to worry about me always y’know. — So relax. the coffee and muffins are fine – alright?”

Maybe Ignis should be grateful in any sort of way. His boss had been getting some rest at least than overworking himself for days, resembling rather like the head of zombies than anything else. He sighs at the other’s comment of wanting to sleep five extra minutes. “It would be less of a dilemma if they would be in the — bed.” although, there was another long day of meetings and Ignis could already witness it would be challenging. Hopefully, the coffee with two or three more cups more of it would help. “Do you prefer an appointment at your favorite massager?” The assistant could even give him a little massage on his own but some specialist could end up being the best help. “Believe me, your bed should be even used alongside sex. It’s one of the best mattresses extra created for you but you aren’t even using it for non-sexual activity?” Sure, the fact of Tony having a rather high sex drive and steadily brought someone home wasn’t new at all for him. Maybe even received a clear warning from closer people of his boss. But even a hint didn't prepare him with how he walked in some rather awkward situations. Nonetheless, Ignis didn’t let any real emotions show through such confrontations.

If there was some tenseness in the restaurant, Cor didn’t sense it very much, maybe some morbid curiosity from the patrons, but for the most part, he found that the majority of them were too focused on themselves to pay any mind to the Marshal of the Crownsguard and the Advisor of the Prince.

“I… wasn’t sure if it was you.” Cor admitted. “I didn’t realize when Noctis said… someone I knew–” Well, someone I knew was vague enough he figured, but still, he didn’t think it would be Ignis, actually, he just didn’t know what to expect. Maybe Gladio, but he didn’t think Gladio would ever be interested, he wasn’t sure Gladio thought of him like that; He wasn’t sure Ignis thought of him like that. He didn’t fully know the intentions of the date.

Cor raised his brow at Ignis’s remark, to invite him to a meal in excuse – If he wished to be left alone. Cor looked down at the melted glass of ice water before him, and dabbed the condensation ring with the napkin. “Only if allow me to order you a meal as well.” He replied. “Since we’ve gone to the length of meeting, I suppose we could at least sit together, but if you prefer it, you may sit alone.” He wondered if he came off too professional, but he honestly didn’t know how to come off like this.

Maybe it really was just himself overreacting with assume how the other customers observed them. Something that always been more than bothersome since being close to Noctis. There always has been gossip going on about the royalty. People seem so eager to learn new --- intrigues. Although, most really were just some obvious misstatement or useless information that make his head shake. Maybe that was the reason he felt even more eyes on him. Ignis doesn't want to find them together on some gossip publications, causing cor being uncomfortable at the end.

"I didn't really suspect anyone ---- like rather assumed this meeting to be canceled." He just couldn't see himself being someone's interest and even more if Cor was the person. Noctis hasn't given him any much of a clue. Maybe knows how the adviser had attempted to discover on his own who would be his date. In the end, the prince had made such a mystery out of it which hasn't helped at all against the nervousness.
