No Rest For The Wicked

Thank you so much for all the love you’ve given to Becky, and I’ll be back for sure, because I wouldn’t be here without this woman and the strength she has given me to carry on with life.

As for all of you, you’re all wonderful human beings who deserve great things. I’d still love to keep in touch. If you want my personal, skype, or discord, just let me know! And I’ll try to check in on this account, if you’d rather just talk in messages on here, but in terms of rping, I just can’t do it right now, and for that I’m sorry.

I hope you all have a great spring, and I’ll be back to annoy you all after this class has ended (which should be after June 2nd when we have our student showcase).

“Hopefully, Lady Luck is on my side t’night, cause the company sure ain’t.” She let out a sigh of frustration with the way everything was going down. “Hey, I heard t’e band’s gettin’ back together. Go out t’ere n’ kill it.”

“Creative can go fuck themselves.” Ashley said simply. “They aren’t going to prevent me from being there for my best friend.” She spoke firmly, eyes narrowing at the hypothetical situation. There was no way Ashley was going to let Becky be alone at a time like this. The blonde slowed her gait, so as not to overwhelm Becky, and they finally made their way back to the locker room. “Alright, go ahead and sit. Do you think you can carry your duffel bag?” Ashley asked in a quiet tone. She was prepared to carry everything, but a girl only has two hands. While she listened to Becky’s response, Ashley managed to get their things together in one spot. She threw her hoodie on and zipped it up before turning her attention back to Becky.

“Alright, Bloody McBloodface. I’m gonna help you put your coat on, and don’t tell me no. Cause I’ll do it anyway.” Ashley grabbed Becky’s fleece jacket and helped her put her arms in, waiting for Becky to zip up. “Alright. Let’s hit the road. A hot shower and ice cream await.” Ashley spoke, giving Becky’s hand a light squeeze.

It hadn’t taken too long for the effects of the medicine to kick in, Becky’s voice livelier than it had been since coming backstage, “Ashley Fliehr! You watch yer tongue!” She let her eyes glance around the empty hall suspiciously, before realizing they had made it to the locker room. Taking a seat, she looked over at her duffel bag, before looking back to her friend, “I t’ink The Man can handle a puny lit’le duffel bag.” Everything was slowly starting to spin less and her head was finally beginning to ease up some.

She smiled slightly, waving her hand in a dismissive manner. “Don’t think anything about it.” Jess spoke as she sat across from her flame haired friend. “I know that you would do the same for any of us.” The Aussie crossed her legs after gratefully taking a water bottle from a nearby intern. “We knew then that ‘The Man’ was somethin’ special. Can’t wait to see you set Wrestlemania on fire.” Jess spoke confidently. If she or Cass couldn’t be in the spotlight, then she felt that Becky was the one who deserved her time in the sun the most out of all the girls. 

“Yer knee okay?” Jess asked, tipping her head to the side slightly. She noticed that Becky was limping a little and she wanted to make sure that she was okay. “You don’t need any help walking to the back, do you?” She took a sip of her water as she waited for a response from Becky.

The truth was, Becky wanted to see all of her fellow female wrestlers have their chance in the spotlight. They had all worked too hard to be cast aside. The company had been a hard one to navigate sometimes with the decisions the higher-ups made. But each woman that worked for the company had brought something unique and special to the table. Jess and Cassie had brought a humor that was unmatched, but knew how to fight, when it was time to get serious, “I t’ink everyone here is pretty special. Just remember t’at when t’ings seem impossible. Apparently all it took was a swift punch an’ a broken face ta make The Man who she is.” A weak laugh escaped her lips.

Finn sobered up for a minute, eyebrow arched at his companion. “I was kiddin’, lass. But somethin’ tells me you don’t care about that.” It was clear to him, and well to anybody, that Becky– no, The Man, – had a new lease on life. He wasn’t one to judge that; in some ways it reminded him of a prince he once knew. “You’re not wrong,” he offered, “Just don’t let your thirst for war become brashness, yeah?”

Honestly Ashley could not have been happier for her best friend in the entire world. If there was no one better in her mind to eliminate her last than her best friend. She went into the trainers room to see her friend, she knew that she was legimitatley banged up from not just the fall but also the entire night.

“Becs!” Ashley rushes over to her friend, hugging her as tightly as she could and not letting go. She let the hug settle for about a minute. She finally pulls away with a huge smile on her face. “I am so proud of you.”

This was the beauty of wrestling. You could “hate” each other one minute, and the next, be hugging. However, her befriend’s hug was currently cutting off what little circulation she could feel moving through her body, and an awkward groaning squeak left her ragged and tired body once her friend had latched on.
