Head in the Clouds

He sighed. “You’re completely sure she’s here?”

"Two hundred percent sure." She said. "That girl knows how to get around, even if she’s slow. How big is the forest? She might be out of my hearing range." 

"It’s not huge, yet not really small. Maybe she got really far, hopefully not in the heart of it. Why do little kids have to get into everything?"

"Attention-seeking little rascals." She rolled her eyes, a bit of mint green fading into the sky blue color. "We should start looking." She said. "I’ll climb a tree and see if I can pick up a sound." She added, running over to the nearest tree and darting up the trunk surprisingly quickly for such a small puff. 

Saito did a similar action, climbing effortlessly to the top of a tree with helps from winds. "Yup, probably should, I don't have all the time in the world. Lemme see if there's anything up here."

((*sighs* Already? You just got here…)) Rosemary: “You’re sick, you know that, right?” she hissed at the waitress. ((Yyyyep!))

"So where's the food?"

He sighed. “You’re completely sure she’s here?”

"Grace likes bright things." Emily said. "There’s certainly plenty of shine here." She added under her breath. "And trouble. If she comes along a large group of animals, she’ll dart right into them and send them into a panic." Emily said, raising her voice so Saito could hear her again. "The first sign that she’s causing trouble is a ton of noise."

"Do you hear anything? ‘Cause I’m like, deaf. Does she make any noise?"

She blinked and fluffy bat ears flicked up from her hair. Emily stayed silent for a few minutes, the ears moving around like satellite dishes. Eventually she shook her head no. “I got nothing.”

He sighed. "You're completely sure she's here?"

"A lot even for a cat?"

Rosemary: “Can’t remember exactly. Probably not, though.”

"Where’s your favorite tree to climb on?"

Rosemary: She shrugged. “Don’t really have a favorite.”

"Then a favorite type of tree?"

Rosemary: “No, not really. A tree is a tree is a tree.”

"From what I'm hearing, your life must be pretty boring. Have you gone on vacation before to other planets?"
