on a crisp spring morning as it normally is, the latest edition of jeju weekly is dropped off at convenience stores and front doors of nearby residents. on this morning however, a large article is splashed across the front page, its stark black and white photos standing out against the page.
"jeju weekly has received various reports from authorities about an increasing alarm of animal attacks. locals have reported seeing large dogs almost as big as wolves roaming the parks and fields all over the island. authorities report that while no one has been severely injured yet, victims have come close and have been treated for minor injuries sustained during escape at the hospital. authorities are currently in talks with the university about the possibility of a curfew and have urged locals to stay in doors after dark. the governor's office has requested assistance from locals and visitors with hunting and trapping experience in capturing these animals."
