Physical Description
The blade is slightly curved and single-edged, with a group of three fullers towards the back. The ivory hilt is of waisted form, with a bulbous, reeded pommel. The waisted section and the bottom of the grip are carved with bands of leaves. The guard is of iron, with short quillons terminating in petalled domes, and with long langets terminating in onion-shaped finials. The guard is decorated in gold koftgari with foliate borders.
