Sadness
I have no idea what has happened with this. I'm just writing this to tell anyone who is still listening that I will be posting something on Tuesdays, but not a theme based.
First loves! It could be a person, book, hobby, etc.? Whatever floats your boats *u*

UNDER MAINTENANCE, CHECK BACK NEXT WEEK.
We are currently re-working some things, so please return on the 23rd September 2013!
-Jared (Tuesday)
EDIT: I am pretty sure we will be back on the 30th September 2013, but only with your help. Please submit an ask with a topic you'd like to see.
There are approximately 1,013,913 words in the English language, and I can't string any together to create a clever title
Now, before I get started, let’s get something out of the way: this isn’t a very fun topic to read about. I don't mean anyone offence by that. But I don't think you- or anyone- really cares that much. I love learning about people, but I think there are plenty other ways to do it.
Don’t worry, it may just be me, but this isn’t the best subject to write about either.
On that note, we need you to give us ideas, because sometimes we just can’t decide on them ourselves. So please, if you have an idea, send us a message, and we’ll try our best to write about it.
On to the topic.
My favourite subject would have to be English, hands down. I’ve always been infatuated with reading, writing, debating, and English class gives me a chance to work at those passions. I love Shakespeare. I love reading critically. I’m not sure why, but I love writing essays. Perhaps I just enjoy seeing my thoughts down in a logical way, my friends constantly poke fun at me for it, but I can’t help it. Of course, there are some parts I detest (read: comprehension questions), but most of the time I cannot wait until English rolls around.
That being said, I have to acknowledge my history class this year. It may be the teacher that is drawing me to the subject (it’s a bonus that he constantly stops the class to tell stories, related to history and otherwise). Really any class that allows me to think critically, learn about people and the way they think, and write essays is fine by me. Any class that isn’t math.
You really are tremendous,
-Eliza

Does Lunch Count as a Subject?
I’m going to assume that lunch doesn’t count as a subject. Even though, if it does, it would be my favorite. I believe that the teacher has a lot to do with how much a person likes the subject. If you have a terrible teacher, then they can discourage you from that subject. The other important part, is how well the person can perform in the class. People tend to like what they are good at. If I was asked a few years ago, during my middle school years, I would say my favorite subject was orchestra. I was pretty decent, and still pretty decent, at playing cello without too much effort, and I had a brilliant teacher. Most of my friends had taken the class, and we had a blast practicing, performing, and going on trips together. Though now that I think about it, I might of liked the class more than the subject. Since then, I’ve had to suffer through a bad orchestra teacher and a class with diminishing friends. Now my favorite class is English. It’s where my creativity runs wild and the teachers are awesome. Plus, I get to spend a lot of time reading. And even though there are parts that I don’t like, (poetry >.>) I prefer it over all the other subjects. Happy Living~ Stine
Sorry that this is a bit late Warriors! My sister is having her birthday party and I got a little caught up in playing Just Dance 4.
Getting on with this week's topic, favorite school subjects. So far, I must say my favorite class is Psychology. It's quite enlightening, and the people in my class are hilarious, and this short, stocky math teacher from next door likes to come in randomly to cause shenanigans. We've been watching videos about the research of Phillip Zimbardo as of late, and learning about different disorders, such as trichotillomania, multiple personality disorder, and just thinking about how the human brain works. I always look forward to third period; it's a nice change from the standard math, English, social studies swing.
That said, I'm also really looking forward to working with the fancy cameras in Digital Media.
Being a senior is pretty okay.
With love,
Megan
Caleb gets to ramble about school. Oh, what fun!
School has been in progress for a while now here in America and people seem all busy again. There are projects to be done and subjects to be studied. And it's all quite a mess. But luckily, today there's a fun topic: What is my favorite school subject?
Studying has always been fun to me. Scratch that. Learning has always been fun to me. Studying can be boring, tedious, and sometimes just plain stupid. But learning new things is... it's amazing. It really is. When I was a kid (much younger kid) I soaked up all the information like a sponge. I was in awe at how much an elephant ate daily and the correct spelling of the word “yacht.” Life was very beautiful and interesting.
Sadly, though I lost a lot of the passion and energy as I moved into high school.
Disclaimer: I'm actually homeschooled so my experience is probably very different than most of you Warriors (I think that's our witty pet name for you guys, sorry). Basically, my parents buy me curriculum and tell me to learn it. Overall, it's been a relatively negative experience, but I'll probably talk about that some other time.
So anyway, high school became, in a sense, information hurdles to jump over and no fun. I started feeling contempt towards any sort of standardized learning and that is basically the position I'm in at this point in my life. I will give a break, though. Crash Course has made learning entertaining and exciting so if you don't know about them, give them a shot!
Wow, I didn't mean to write that much; it sort of blurted out onto a page. Okay. Got to make this snappy.
Quick Answer: My favorite subject in school has to be History. Hands down. You can't screw up History. It's always awesome to relive the trials and triumphs mankind, people very much like you and me, endured before us. I think that's beautiful. And to know right now we're creating history by just existing! ...god, I'm a nerd sometimes. You know I'm a nerd when History textbooks turn me on.
I love English too, but I don't really like the boring element in learning grammar. I enjoy reading and creating English much more.
Best Regards,
Caleb
PS Sorry for all the mistakes, Sammi :P
Hi. You love Musicals. I love Musicals. I think it would be the perfect union. Don't you think, Sammi?
Yes, I would, Anon. Someone call the priest!
- Sammi
"Study history, study history. In history lies all the secrets of statecraft."
Hello my fellow bloggers!
Like my fellow Warrior Jared, I absolutely and completely love History; World History, American History, History of books, History of the Culinary industry. All of it!
After Culinary school, I plan on going to The College of William & Mary where I would (major in French) and minor in History.
Part of why I love history is because I know a great deal about it. Coming from a military background I've been to a great amount of fundraisers and parties, most of which were held in places such as museums. This eventually bringing me to love all museums (except the Air and Space Museum in D.C. I HATE THAT MUSEUM SOOOOOOO MUCH!).
Okay, I have to go now. Bare: The Musical is calling me and then I have to read a Brave New World for English, 50 questions for Government and of course multiple Pre-Calculus problems. Not to mention my essay for Culinary, College applications that need to be filled out.
Adios, everybody! God only knows you'll be having a great deal more fun than I will.
P.S. I'm not going over this so please don't yell at me for any mistakes. In fact you can blame Caleb for any mistakes. IN FACT ALL MISTAKES ARE CALEBS.
HAIL?
HAIL.
Sorry, I've been listening to Night Vale too much, I guess.

Dear heavens, could that jumbled array of letters above me actually be justified as the English language. My good sir, I do believe you should pull your cranium from your rectal sphincter and dabble in an English text book every now and again. Or at least a newspaper. Good day. - posh Caleb
I’m not sure what you mean posh Caleb. I mean who cares right? Why do you care? Why do I care? Why does the world care? Why does the dog down the road care? Why does the kid in Australia care? - down Caleb
Nobody knows what posh Caleb means. He’s a tool. Stop moping around all the time down caleb. God, honestly you annoy everybody when you’re like that. Get me a drink or something, man. Be useful. - Better-than-everybody-else Caleb
Seriously man, just get the fuck out of my face better-than-everybody-else Caleb. Nobody likes you and your like fucking comments dude, comprendo? Sit down, take the shit and be fucking happy. - cursing Caleb
Whoa… that escalated quickly. - tumblr Caleb
ARE YOU SURE? DID IT? ARE YOU 100% SURE IN ESCALATED QUICKLY? - hyper Caleb
Tuesday Returns: Social Studies v History.
I'm back! I was gone for weeks because of chicken pox, migraine episodes, and family sickness, but now, school is in session and now I'm back in action! I will post the next three weeks schedule after some discussion and debate on our private forums.
So favourite subject? Mine has to be History, or is it Social Studies? This has confused everyone for YEARS! But basically , I say this:
If you're learning the ways of life, it's called Social Studies.
If you're learning time lines, it's History.
I love learning the time lines, like the French Revolution and the Rise and Fall of the Romans. I don't care so much about the price of fish in 13th century London and what they ate for breakfast in 300 BC as much as I like the action-packed history of the world.
Sorry for the short one! Jared
Dearest Caleb, can I just say that you are probably the sweetest, most genuine person I've never met (although I wish I could). I've been watching your youtube videos, and you have so much talent, and your writing is extraordinary, and you're just so nice and I also wish I could kiss your face. I cannot fathom how you deal with everything and still end up so wonderful. I look forward to every time you post, and just, GAH, I love you, okay? You're great.
I read this earlier and had absolutely no words to respond. I'm speechless. That is... that is just so nice of you to say. Thank you so much. I'm enamored. I feel wonderful.
I completely love you too. You've just made my entire week a million times better. You're a beautiful, beautiful person. Keep on being awesome because you made my life a lot better :)
-Caleb
Today Is Not a Very Good Day
Hello, lovelies, I'm terribly sorry that I haven't posted in so long, but life got in the way and I wasn't able to. Hopefully, now that school has started back up, we'll all get into a regular routine again.
Here's the deal: this week, in honour of our 10th week together, we are allowed to blog about whatever topic we wish. I had many ideas rolling around in my head, so many, that it was difficult to pick one. But when I finally chose and sat down to write it, I couldn’t. The words wouldn’t flow, my hands were jerky. I knew there was no way I was going to be able to finish it. Still, I pushed myself to, getting more and more frustrated. Until, eventually, it was late and I was tired and teary-eyed and having trouble breathing. This happens far too often for my liking.
So, Warriors, (if I may call you that), let’s just get caught up. We haven’t spoken for quite a few weeks, so let me fill you in on some of the thoughts going through my head since then.
School has started up again, and with that, routine. Including, a bowl of shredded wheat with strawberries every morning (and I mean every morning). I’ve had a lot of math homework. I hate math homework. In terms of extra-curriculars, I’ve joined the crew for my school musical, given the fact that I can’t sing and would deafen the audience if I was actually in the cast.
I haven’t been reading enough for my liking, I’m not quite sure why, I guess I just haven’t had the energy to read. I have, however, started listening to Night Vale, which I love, and I finished season 6 of supernatural tonight.
Other than that, I’ve just kind of been here. I got a new cardigan, I went grocery shopping, my locker is at a very awkward spot in the school, I went to a music festival with my friends.
This is all very boring, I’m aware of that, and I’m aware that the voice in my head that narrates my writing is very formal. But every time I even think about writing anything more complex or making my words sound more poetic, my hands start shaking and my head starts to spin, and well, today is not a good writing day for me.
Hopefully next week will be better.
By the way, you truly are extraordinary,
Eliza
Just Stay Alive
Hello. So... I've been rather hopeless lately and I can't seem to focus my mind on anything else except the fact that I am hopeless.
I'm bipolar and it sucks. I don't really have a reason for getting down or depressed, but I do. And it's insanely hard to come back from. I have this bad knack for listening to sad music and then making sure I'm as sad/angry as possible and staying that way until I feel better. I don't suggest this. It's what I do, though,
It doesn't help when people say "have you tried a healthy diet and routine exercising" or "you should get a hobby" or, my personal favorite, "have you tried not being depressed."
I exercise daily, I have a diet any mother would be delighted with, I HAVE HOBBIES, and I swear if anybody asks if I've tried being positive or not being depressed I'm going to just roll up into a giant ball and die.
Every time I try to write about depression, I can't finish for some reason. It's hard to bring up.This is what was on my mind so I thought I blurt it out onto some virtual paper.
Basically with this post, I'm just begging if anyone out there is having problems or anything, survive. I don't care how you do it: crawl along slowly or walk out head high. Just do it. Just survive. It will get better or at least not so bad. I know things can suck, even for no reason, but they will suck less later. This is what I keep telling myself and I'm hoping it's true.
Best regards.
Caleb

I will go down with my ships
My question for today is why do other people feel the need to crush on our feelings just the same as why do we put other people down for liking something different than us?
Its okay if you do not find this attractive like I do.
I'm okay with you not understanding that I absolutely would die if i ever met
Or
Okay? I understand. Some people love One Direction. Some people love Brad Pitt, but they're people just like me who loved Cory Monteith and cried for days after he died. There are people just like me who cannot wait for The Fault in Our Stars movie to come out!
We all get that their are people like us, and different from us, correct? So why do we bother other people about their interests? Why do we hate when people ask us what we find so interesting about Avatar: The Last Airbender when we question why they like watching Pretty Little Liars?
IT DOESN'T MAKE ANY SENSE, OKAY!?
Life throws so much at you its hard to keep up, and at least for me, my books and my music and my favorite performers are the only thing that keeps me going. Their otps and bands and shows keep them going to.
You love Justin Timberlake, I love the Jonas Brothers. Let's say okay and call it a day.
- Sammi
Watch As The Colors Mix
Losing the sense of sight scares me more then losing any other sense. I would give up, though not happily, every other sense if I had to. I would live the rest of my life without being able to hear the deep hum of my cello, or find comfort in my warm blankets, or tasting the sweet, sticky ice cream as it melts on my tongue.
But, only if I can watch the sky turn from a light blue, to an orange, to a dark blue, as the sun goes down. And only if, I can curl up with a book and have the characters come to life on the pages. I'd give up every other sense if I can retain the sense of sight to admire great monuments and coo over TV shows.
Logically thinking, I feel that keeping my vision would best ensure my survival, if only because I would still be able to communicate fairly easily, and walk without bumping into walls.
Happy Living~
