문의해 주시는 ‘지난 20일 한 팬분의 SNS 계정을 통해 게시된 글'과 관련하여 추가로 설명드립니다.
해당 건의 경우 우려하시는 내용인 ‘신청팀에게 케이크를 요청하거나
해당 서포트 신청팀만을 위해 특별하게 생일파티나 생일 축하가 준비된 것'은 전혀 아니며,
지난 11월 9일 뮤지컬 ‘몬테크리스토’ 서포트 현장에 찾아오신 서포트 신청팀에게 고마움의 표시로
멤버가 인사를 전하는 과정에서 진행된 것으로 이에 대한 확대 해석이나 추측은 삼가주시길 부탁드립니다.
추후 서포트 진행 시 같은 오해의 상황이 발생하지 않도록 더욱 주의를 기울이도록 하겠습니다.
더불어 해당 건과 관련 오해의 소지가 있는 사진 및 문구를 업로드함으로써
별빛 여러분들께 혼란을 드리고 멤버 혹은 멤버들에 대한 오해와 루머를 양산한
해당 팬분의 경우 다수의 신고를 통해 ‘사생활 침해 행위’가 추가로 확인되었으며,
별셋 가입자이신 부분 확인하였습니다.
이에 따라 금일 이후로 해당 회원은 VIXX와 관련된 공개방송/이벤트/팬사인회 참여 불가 및
별셋 회원자격 박탈, 이후 기수 가입 불가 조치됨을 알려 드리며,
추후에도 이와 동일한 '오해의 소지 제공, 사생활 침해 건’에 대해서는
동일하게 강경 조치할 예정임을 안내해 드립니다.
또한 당사는 소속 아티스트의 권익 보호를 위해
해당 건 관련 온라인 상 악성 루머와 허위 사실, 인신공격성 악플 등
‘허위 사실 유포, 명예훼손 건’에 대해서도 법률적 조치 등 강력하게 대응할 것임을 알려드립니다.
다시 한번 해당 건으로 인해 발생한 오해와 추측들로 인해
별빛 여러분께 심려를 끼쳐드리게 되어 죄송합니다.

First, we apologize for the confusion caused to Starlights by the part left out of the announcement uploaded on the 23rd, and we will give an explanation about the ‘post uploaded on an SNS site on the 20th’.
The object of concern, that ‘the support team requested a cake or there was a special birthday party or birthday celebration prepared specially for the support team,’ is definitely false.
The member was merely conveying his greetings as an expression of gratitude to the support team who came to the “Monte Cristo” rehearsal site on November 9th, so please refrain from exaggerated interpretation and conjecture.
In the future we will be more cautious so that this kind of misunderstanding does not occur during support.
Additionally, due to the uploading of the misleading picture and caption, Starlights were caused confusion; we further identified the misunderstandings and rumors that were created as ‘acts of invasion of privacy’ through fans’ many reports; and we identified that Byulset members were involved.
Accordingly, from today onward, the fan club members in question will not be able to participate in broadcasts/events/fansigns with VIXX, will be expelled from Byulset, and have been informed they will not be able to join the fan club. In the future, we plan to take a strong stance in this same way against those who ‘cause misunderstandings and invade privacy’.
Also, in order to protect the rights and interests of our company’s artists, we will take legal action and deal strongly with the ‘circulation of falsehoods and cases of defamation’ such as malicious rumors and falsehoods online, character attack, and hateful comments.
Once again, we apologize for the worry caused to Starlights for the misunderstandings and conjecture caused by this case.
T/N: The post on the 23rd was in regard to the procedure for applying for support and relevant details. Support is when groups send food/gifts to the members and staff for things like birthdays and music shows, and musicals.
This announcement by Jellyfish is referring to a recent misunderstanding caused by a fan site master uploading a picture on their personal SNS. Seeing the picture, some fans did not realize it was from an official support project. In turn, some people took this as an opportunity to spread rumors and hateful messages about members online. We do not have any further information about this, so we (FY-VIXX) will not be answering any asks about this. Thank you.
