Introduction: TVH Blog Rundown
Hey everyone! It's me, Em, better known as @peachesandthings on wattpad. I never really understood why I picked that as my username way back when but then I started promotion The Violet Hour in tiktok comment sections saying "Have you read The Violet Hour by Peachesandthings", and now I can't go back.
Anywho. I think i've been disappointing you all with the lack of content vs what I promised. The sequel completely flopped tbh, I have a really hard time with the idea of anything being as good as the original fic and I had been using Second Planet From The Sun to ease up my writer's block but lets be honest guys, how often have I updated that??? Lmao...
But I genuinely think about the fic all the time. I miss Venus, I miss Peter. And there is a WHOLE world of lore that you guys don't even know because it resides in lost instagram chats with Ziggy who helped me develop and dream up the book. Like the extent to which we daydreamed up is crazy. We went all the way to a crossover with Wandavision and what roles TVH characters would have in that as well as plotting out where Venus is for EVERY single x-men movie and if she isn't there, Sylvia definitely was. The lore is extensive.
So I have this blog. And I am thinking of writing little blurbs instead of a whole other fic. Who knows, I might find the strength to return to the sequel but in the meantime, I feel like giving you odd little glimpses of TVH in short-story, one-shot form might be worth something, might be a little fun n silly. I miss Venus and Peter and I know some of you do as well.
I do want to warn you that I do plan on writing a few things that might be M-rated, so if that isn't your thing, I will have ways for you to detect and avoid that sort of content.
