I told you we should've taken the helicopter

every so often at work we do this dinner and a show package in a partnership with the local theater, the tip is included but sometimes the customers will give their server some extra. you know, regular degular shit, this is how it goes. tonight they had four tables, each server had a table, we didn’t do anything for each other’s tables, it isn’t like when we work a party and split the work and the tip. each group left extra money on their tables, i know there was at least $100 on mine, but before i could get to it, i turned around and there was Toxic Coworker, grabbing the tip off of MY table, after she’d already taken the money off of the other three tables as well. she said, “wow, they left extra :)” and i said, “…….oh so that’s what we do now?” she was like huh? i went to Lori and was like, “i’m genuinely going to snap, i’m livid right now,” told her what happened and she went to Toxic Coworker and was like, “what are you doing, we don’t pool tips, what was left on the tables was for the server who had that table.” Toxic Coworker was like, “oh, well i already put it all together, so…….” MAN IF YOU DON’T GET THE FUCK AWAY FROM ME RIGHT NOW. then i went to Vince and said, “i need to talk to you,” told him what happened and he was like, “what the fuck, what the FUCK.” Toxic Coworker walked in and Vince said, “So suddenly you’ve decided to change the system? We pool tips now?” SHE IGNORED HIM and said to me, “we each get an extra $73 :)” GET THE FUCK AWAY FROM MEEEEE $73 I KNOW THAT TABLE LEFT ME MORE. then at the end of the night, she somehow walked with $200 more than the rest of us. SOMEHOW. my immediate thought was “she didn’t split that fucking money evenly, she took more for herself because she thinks she deserves it.”
