The Hillbilly African

Open letter to white people and non black people who like to use the N word.

Not in the funny comical or sexual way I like to describe the things she does

But in the honest, truthful, pitted and scared way she behaves.

She cant talk with words so she shows me her feelings with her actions

Like when I indulge in too much sugar she breaks out in angry red spots showing me how my actions are hurting her. 

Or when I eat sodium heavy foods and feel her anger in the heavy cramps. 

Yes it sucks and sometimes I get angry, douse her in painkillers and medicated balms, trying to mask the message she is trying to tell me. 

I have to slow down and remember how grateful I am to her for being the vessel I have in this life.

With teardrop breast and thick thigh I am grateful that I feel at home in my skin. Its a privilege that others dont have. 

I need to work harder on treating her like the magnificent creation she is. From cellular reaction to cellular reaction she works had creating and destroying, renewing and expelling, carrying me through time and space. I owe it to her to treat her the best because every second of  every minute, hour and year she works to do the same.
