    Nope. He hadn’t recognized him, not one bit. In fact, he had barely even remembered Gon telling him about him. Even so, its not like he’d match appearances at this very moment. What his son had told him completely mismatched the picture in his head.

  As the hunter listened, a swarm of irritation hit his features, clenching up and practically having his thoughts swirl around him at the explanation given. Sharp eyes peering down at the white haired boy, biting his lip before giving into the temptation of snapping.

“Hm?” Gon looked up from his makeshift candy apple stall, his expression creasing and pout forming at Ging’s pessimism. “But if I sell enough candy apples I can buy a cool Halloween costume!” He quickly perked up, before holding up a candy apple to Ging and grinning.

  Should he? It seemed pretty salty. And he wasn’t a big fan of that kind of stuff. It was tolerable, but how much salt could this kid have possibly put on those things? Ging didn’t know gon well enough to know, but hopefully he was smart enough to not engross it.

  A hot breath escaped him, swiftly swiping the apple from his sons hands and forcefully taking a bit, chewing it relentlessly. Eager to judge it’s taste. But before saying anything, he gave advice.
