I am so late to this discourse but me and my coworker were talking about this today

As someone who struggles with similar emotional issues, watching Huda in the last season of Love Island really made me feel seen. You just don't see crazy girlfriends be humanized in media EVER. I completely understand why so many people sided with her, but the glorification of how she acted was so awful to watch. I know that a lot of us experience the things she felt and can relate, but pretending that that is okay, or that she was in the right and "done dirty" is so so backwards.

At least speaking for myself I think justifying those feelings will never get you anywhere in life, you will always be miserable until you learn how to manage your emotions. And yeah, easier said than done but like why was everyone treating her second pairing (I forgot his name) like the devil???? He was so fucking normal
