when this life bit back the taste got you angry I think you stopped chasing flame wore time like a top hat desire changed their number wanted nothing’s everything always never needed down pillows scowling at full moons from new cars watching photo’s colors fade too hard on a well lived life or softly feeling it slink upstairs
