I hc that fold learned how to shape shift through books on origami. He picks something that he wants to change into, reads the instructions, and grabs a scrap sheet of paper to help him visualize the steps in his head before practicing with himself.

When bored or just waiting around, he’ll get a sheet and “study” an old form he’s rusty with or a new one that he hasn’t quite got the hang of yet, refining his technique.

When he’s finished with a piece, he probably just hands it over to Miss Info, since well, what else is he gonna do with it? She doesn’t really know what to do with it either but I bet she keeps them all in a drawer and looks at them every so often. I don’t think she understands her strange attachment to his casual gifts or why she doesn’t just toss them out.

Sometimes he wants to make pretty paper things to give as an actual gift but pretends it was an accident that he made so many it was a really tricky one trust me bro

I am in the middle of drawing their room and adding little pieces of decor for my headcanons…AND I SEE THIS AND YOU BASICALLY JUST SAID EVERYTHING I WAS INCLUDING??? Not to mention one of my first headcanons after watching it was “He could probably turn into a motorcycle and do the Akira slide”

I literally have him have an origami book in his area, along with extra sheets of paper so he can practice and learn forms new forms, and perfect old forms, and when he feels he’s mastered a form he tapes it to his wall. And he has gifted some to Miss Information, though she doesn’t keep it out in sight since she doesn’t want to admit that she appreciates it. I even hid a lil origami heart in her cubby thingy that was given to her by Fold <3

AHHHHH THE SILLIES!!!

Also Fold horse 📄🐎!!! He has been tamed Minecraft style via glue sticks!!! So graceful and elegant and totally doesn’t smell fear!!!

A lot of people seem to think that Fold is light/weak due to him being made of paper, yet he’s shown throughout the pilot to be considerably strong and have some sort of odd heft to himself when in his larger forms.

Such as when he tackles Miss Information to protect her from the falling rocks. If he was paper-light then she wouldn’t have been knocked over like that, yet she’s hit as though he’s human-weight.

Or how with Kit and Flappers a single kick/punch is enough to send them to the ground a few feet away (Like, look how far Kit went from just one kick!), showing that he’s heavy enough to properly hit them, and strong enough to send ‘em flying!

But I think the biggest one is that he is able to carry Miss Information, a few Floaties, AND Snappers (a huge shark, as he stated) with ease up to the surface at breakneck speeds, while it took all of Flapper’s remaining energy and a whole Kibble Star Cannon just for Kit, Kaboodle, and Flappers to get to the surface (who I assume are much lighter than Snappers)

He picked Kit up with just one arm and freaking slammed her to the ground hard enough that she bounced, then smacked her back down with the other one. Not to mention him doing backflips and stuff to dodge Kit’s laser cannon.
