His Only Companion

"You could say the same about me.. Wolf to human.." He mused, before intertwining their fingers together. "It’s nice to be with someone who gets that wolf part huh?"

"I was born a wolf, Jack." She pointed out, feeling his fingers locking with hers. He was trying to win! She was not having that. "It is. But Jack? You're not going to win this round. I said we were over, did I not?"

He leaned in for a moment, locked in her gaze. “I’ve never met anyone quite like you…”

Tyla wanted to look away. But she couldn't. Whether she liked it for not, she was somehow connected to Jack. "Of course you haven't. I'm a unique case. Wolf to human."

“ What do you mean well enough? Are you —- are you messing with my brother? Are you leading him on? “

"No, that's not what I meant. I. . . I like Jack, a lot. I just don't think I should be talking about this with you."

“ Yeah I know you. You’re the girl he’s been acting like a puppy over. So — you know him huh? “

"I don't control how he acts around me. But, I would agree with puppy. Yeah, I know him. Well enough, I'd say."

He chuckled into the kiss. “You know.. I myself being a wolf.. Can hear your heartbeat.. You’re lying..” He grinned before going back to kiss her.

The female just smirked. He was a silly wolf. "That doesn't mean that I'm not breaking up with you." Tyla whispered, stopping him when he tried to kiss her. "No. You don't get to win."

Jack shook his head, taking matters into his own hands. He gazed at her for a moment, a cheesy grin on his face before leaning down and kissing her gently. “Hmm how about now?”

Stupid, stupid boy. Why did he think that would work? Still, Tyla returned his kiss, but when he spoke, she couldn't help but lie. "No. Still broken up."

“ —- Stuart. I’m the asshole version of Jack. It’s a real pleasure to meet you. “

"There's another version of Jack around? One is enough! I'm Tyla. I. . . know Jack."

"You bet, Wolf girl.."

"Fine. We're done."

"I can you’re lying.. You don’t want to admit it but you care about me more then you let on."

"Are you willing to call my bluff?"

"Make me.." 

"If you don't go, I'll break up with you."

"— I’m sorry to say I’m only a little bit sorry.."
