The T509 Speed Triple Build

T509 Mk2 featured as one of three restomods in German „PS“ magazine.

Clean electrical compartment. Lithium battery with Anderson connectors and refurbished main wiring loom. Plus: Silicone hoses for the coolant reservoir.

After first successful start.

Rollout from the garden shack and into the garage. T509 Mk1 (built 2015-2017, back) and Mk2 (build stared in June 2018).

Custom-built seat by saddlery Munich (http://www.sattlerei-sam.de). Black suede leather on a core of three layers of foam. Looks the business, but works well for long days in the saddle, too.

Body parts went to the paint shop.

Front end with Beringer six piston calipers, BeringerAeronal disks, PVM forged wheels, titanium front axle and titanium fasteners throughout.

A view from behind shows how tightly slung the silencer can be mounted. This is one of the conceptional advantages of a single-sided swingarm. Realizing this exhaust installation required some effort, though: The stock headers were replaced by custom titanium headers by MAB. The new headers run much tighter to the engine than the stock item, although they have a wider diameter and a more elaborate collector. The end can is a lightweight, although street-legal Blueflame silencer.

Did a dry build before the body parts will go to the paint shop. Still undecided on the color, though.
