(This is an AU were the Source Dragons are siblings with the FSM)

So basically there was this lady called Asteria, and she lived in Imperium during the rule of a tyrant. Asteria didn’t much care for the issues of the city as long as it did not affect her or her child and husband.

This was until her child was killed by the tyrant.

Now for some FURTHER back story to understand the rest. Strength is the one who created Imperium in the belief he could create a realm superior to the one of his brothers with smarter people.

Which lead to him creating his beloved Imperium, he really likes the place. He’s one that believes that violence is the only way to achieve true peace and he thinks those who don’t accept that are fools.

Ok back to the main story. Asteria swears to the Tyrant that she will make sure their god (Strength) knows of what he’s done and that she’s sure he’s watching.

Cut forward a bit after a lot of praying Strength appears before her and grants her a gift- the Elemental Power of Shockwave. This turned into her leading a rebellion against the Tyrant. Changing herself so much that she becomes an entirely different person, her husband leaves her due to this and she falls deeper into a similar ideology that Strength holds. (During that time at least lmao.)

After a lot of violence and killing, Asteria comes out victorious and becomes the new Empress of Imperium, now so far gone and changed from her original self that she feels almost hollow. This is when she takes on a persona to rule Imperium as she thinks someone proper should.

After all these years of war however Strength had fallen in love with Asteria. He admired her strength and the dedication to avenge her daughter, relating to her perseverance. But when he confessed Asteria did not believe him.

She told him “You love the Empress of Imperium, you do not love me.”

They were stuck in a back and forth of this for years. Strength gave her daughters formed of her flesh and his own power so she could continue her bloodline.

He was with her until she died of old age, holding her hand, he burned Asterias hand print onto his own to remember her forever.

He does a lot of shit cuz he misses her a lot. But here’s the backstory I gave Imperium. Isn’t it cool guys????

ras saying that you can basically create a new reality in the reversal of the merge makes me wonder if that’s how he justifies everything because if that is true, which in his mind it has to be true, then he would be able to just reverse all the damage he did while still being able to bring back his tribe. Maybe that’s why he can’t accept that he’s the bad guy in this situation. Because to him all of this is temporary hurt that will be undone once he’s gotten what he wanted. But in reality, chances are even if that is how reversing the merge works his master won’t actually do any of that but ras believes he will because that’s his savior and his only parental figure for most of his life. Every other connection he’s had has either betrayed him or died or in Zilvars case ras believes that he betrayed him.

This is really good but also it reminded me of him lmao cause that was also essentially his thought process too
