Purple Fun Socks I got these socks a few years ago because they are fantastic.  Unfortunately the quality is mediocre.  After being worn <10 times, they bottom of the socks have begun fraying and pilling.  They have a nice fit though.  As far as value goes, I don’t remember how much they were or where I bought them.   Quality: 6/10 Value: ???

Dr Nelson’s Sock I borrowed this sock and its mate from Dr Nelson a while ago.  They obviously haven’t made it back to the good doctor so we will review them.  Overall these socks kinda suck.  I’m not a huge fan of cotton socks.  Especially cotton socks that don’t fit that well.  They are quite short as well.  But they were free, so the value is infinitely huge.   Quality: 3/10 Value: 10/10

The Costco Hiker Old trusty.  These Kirkland Signature wool-blend socks were seasonally introduced long ago as an alternative to Smart Wool.  This particular sock is more than a year old, and have stood up admirably to the weekly beatings my feet inflict.  As you can see, a hole has formed in the heel, but again, these socks have been around the block a few times.  The overall quality is inferior to Smart Wool, but at ~$3-4/pair they are a better value overall. Quality: 6/10 Value: 9/10
