I think it could be a great source of angst for both of them.

Sanji reflecting on Little Garden and realising that he ignored the pleads of a crew member. When he thinks his purpose on the ship is to serve the others. How would he feel thinking he failed to do that?

And Zoro who doesn't ask for help and prefers to deal with his problems alone. The only time he let his armor down and asked someone's help, Sanji's help, he was ignored. Probably thinks that the cook doesn't give a shit about him.
