"Because…! Because it’s right!" he suddenly snapped, flinging himself backwards a bit with his wings, his feet landing with a clop on the ground a few feet away. "I’m saving you! Don’t you understand?"
"Everyone’s miserable here…" he mumbled, "If I don’t… do this…"
“How would anyone… how would anyone be happy?!" he bellowed, lifting his hooves up in front of his chest, his wings quickly unfolding in anger. He hated yelling at someone so frail… but… what else was he supposed to do to get his old friend to even start to comprehend?
He growled, hunching over slightly, his tail flicking to and fro in agitation.
“You… You’re unhappy, aren’t you?! Youre an outcast! I would know! I was too!! That’s why… that’s why I’m doing this!!" he continued to yell, before getting quiet again.
"I’m doing this… to put everyone out of their misery" he stated, "I’m doing this to save people. I’m doing this to… help them. I thought you would understand”
"Wait--"
Of all the things Lobo expected Ignis to do, losing his cool and screaming at the wolf definitely was not on the list. Thoroughly frightened, Lobo fell backwards and tried to shuffle back. His eyes, for some reason, would not leave the screaming baphomet.
He didn't understand anything Ignis was shouting about. He could barely even comprehend the other's words. Saving him? Everyone... is miserable? What was he even saying?
Lobo opened his mouth to speak, but his throat had gone dry and his mind blank. He could focus on nothing but the frightening figure looming over him and the pounding of his own heart. He... he was scared. And none of his friends were here to help him.
"N... No... You're wrong..."
He could barely get those words out, and they ended up being a tiny whisper. He balled up both of his hands. There was nobody here to save him.
"Please... stop... You're wrong..."
