She explained, not really seeing why she had to explain herself, but being the older sister she was, she couldn’t help but give a reason.

"I know, I know, I think they will soon. We must be patient, as much as we dislike it, and trust me I dislike it too, we can’t just force these things. God’s resurrection will just have to wait a bit longer…"

It made her sad to say that, she really wanted to do as her father had done, but she knew they couldn’t fly off the handle and punish just anyone. As much as she wished for the sinful to come to them, she knew they had to wait. Despite this, she could feel an itch in her hands, but scratching it yielded no relief.

Rack, who had finished her cake, flopped off the couch, rolling on the floor. "It's so saaaad, though! I hate waiting!" She rolled around a bit more, whining dramatically. Of course, she didn't blame Gibbet for any of this, but that didn't make the waiting any less unbearable. It made it a bit more so, actually. She couldn't even get mad at anyone about it!

She pulled herself up to a sitting position, pulling her knees up to her chest. "Sometimes I wish it were easier. We get guests who are lost all the time, and we can't punish any of them! We need those who are lost in spirit, not body." With that particularly poetic statement, she dropped her head into her hands.

"You always go to that bar! What's so great about that place?" Gibbet was weird. Sometimes it was like she didn't even like the tower, the way she was always going out. Sometimes she even took walks by the lake! Didn't it bother her that Father died there? It didn't make any sense to Rack, who only went out on occasion. She figured Maiden, who almost never went out, made more sense.

Rack sat down next to her sister, glancing at her curiously. "Do you think any more wicked people will come for father's treasure~? It seems like people only come here when they're lost, which is so booooring! The sacrifice doesn't work if the soul is pure!"

"Ah, well, I’ll put her snacks aside then. I would speak more kindly if you want anymore, sister~. Anyhow, I brought some sweet pound cakes glazed in honey, they’re small so you can have a couple~." She answered.

She pulled one of the cakes out of the bag and gave it over to her younger sister, pleased to see the excitement and joy she had. She loved seeing her little sisters happy, it in turn made her very happy, adding to her already good mood. She licked her fingers off, the cakes were sticky so honey got on whatever it touched.

"Aaahhh, yummy~! Thank you, Gibbet~!" She began to munch on the cake happily. Who needed things like forks or knives? That sort of thing just slowed her down, in Rack's opinion. She glanced up at her sister from her half-eaten cake, honey smeared over her face. "So, what did you do out there, Gibbet? Other than buy yummy snacks~?"

Gibbet returned home, she was rather pleased with her evening, bringing some treats back with her to give her little sisters. Really, she was in a good mood, she walked through the halls in search of one of them, the sound of her heels clicking against the tiles.

"Rack~! Maiden~! I’m back~! Where are you~? I have snacks~!" She called out, knowing that would get at least one of them out in the open for her.

Rack immediately ran downstairs, clapping her hands together. "Snacks~! Oh, oh, what did you get me~?" She blinked, glancing around. When Maiden didn't run down, she shrugged.

"Maiden must be sleeping." Or maybe she was taking her time. Rack had gone down pretty quickly, after all. She clapped her hands together, her mind back on the snacks. "Snacks~! You should be nice like this more often!" She did a little leap happily.
