Long blonde hair billowed out along Magnolia’s shoulders as she approached the, only slightly cracked, walls that made up Hogwart’s School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. It had only been a year since her own graduation from this very institution, and everything looked just as she’d remembered it. Of course this time she was returning as staff … teaching assistant for The Care and Keeping of Magical Creatures. She clung to her bag with excitement and made her way to the building. She was sure to make new friends, have new experiences, and prove to herself that she was ready to tackle the world.
“Whelp. I’m as ready as I’ll ever be.”
Naturally it was down to Rodolphus now to poke his nose in where it wasn’t wanted. On this particularly nice evening, with the sun setting behind him and the crisp smell of spring in the air, he was here to oversee the arrival of the new member of their staff, a job he’d really rather not have to do. It was a plesant surprise to see that the woman was at least not at all what he’d been expecting, for starters she wasn’t an old lady, which the name Magnolia carries connotations of, but a young blonde who looked eager to be here. Adorable.
“Good evening, darling.” He greeted her with a courteous smile, taking off his hat to her before eyeing her bags. “I hope you don’t mind, but recent security measures put in place by the Ministry order that all luggage must be checked before entering the castle. So if it’s not too much trouble.. may I?”
