“Don’t we all in this world? I think it is rare from someone of the supernatural of world who doesn’t know how to cook. It is like we know the true value of cooking.” He chuckled. “Please surprise me. I’m a chef if you didn’t know, made a restaurant after you left. You should totally visit us.”

Rowan smiled. “That does make sense... With all the chaos of our lives, food is somethin’ that resembles normalcy, I’d say.” Rowan lifted his eyebrows in surprise. “Ye have a restaurant? Alright, I’m not that good of a cook. But I’ll try.” He said, as he crossed his arms. “My place or yers?”

“Do you? I would like to hear what you know.” He said, interested but also becoming a little more cautious. His nose told him that there was no hostility or malicious intent in the other…so far. However, that could change at any moment. “Oh I am. You will drink the tea before I do after all. If it is poisonous to you, it should be for me too.” He chuckled.

Rowan shrugged lightly. “Not much detail. I know ye’re part of Deucalion’s pack. Ye guys are quite famous... Ye have a twin brother, of course...” Rowan smiled, as he kept preparing the tea, and showed him his bare hands. “I couldn’t handle woflsbane or mountain ash without gloves on. But sure, I’ll drink first.” He finished brewing the tea, and filled two cups, taking a sip from both, before handing one to Ethan. “There. Happy?”

It would help with the cuddles too. I would have a hard time refusing you that way.” He teased as he kept on working. Pepipo in the other hand got into his two legs and placed his paws on Rowan. “Really? And here I thought you liked my ass more. Not that I don’t blame you. My wand did enchant Danny as well.” He said and stopped just to look at his ex. “But hey, how are you really doing? You d look better than the last time we met.”

Rowan kept rubbing the dogs body, and chuckled. “I ain’t a pet, Iago, even if I don’t mind goin’ on all fours for ye...” Rowan sighed, when Santiago asked how he was doing. “I’m... living. At least I don’t feel like I’m constantly runnin’ away, and just survivin’. I feel like life is settlin’ down. Which is dangerous...”

Giving the other a sheepish grin he chuckled. “ I say fauk…” He paused for a moment. “Beotch…..hussy…do those count?…..Oh what about shit? or shit fauk?” Cameron joked obviously playing with the other.

Rowan narrowed his eyes. “I feel like ye’re makin’ fun of me now.” He said, a bit of lightness in his voice. “Still, ye ain’t a Scot, like me. We’re known for cursin’ like sailors...”

Ethan’s brow went up. “You are awfully trusting for someone you barely know anything about, but sure. I have grown…accustomed to enjoy tea.” Ethan said, memories of Deucalion flowing through his mind.

Rowan tipped his head to the side. “Trustin’ is hardly somethin’ people would use to describe me. But I know enough about ye.” He shrugged. “And believe me, ye’re surely a wonderful lad, compared to some of the people I’ve made enemies of.” He started to brew the tea, and smiled over his shoulder. “And are ye sure ye’re not the one who should be a bit distrustful of me?”

“Sure, free food is always welcome. I had never had a druid cook for me. Always made me wonder if they are as good as they are when it comes to their potions.” He teased, “At least should be considering the life you have had.”

Rowan chuckled. “I can cook, aye. But only because I was forced to fend for meself for most of me life. Not because I’m a druid. Ye’d be surprised how many Druids actually mess up their potions precisely because they don’t follow the proper recipes.”

“Does that mean I won’t ever see you as a wolf napping on the grass?” He chuckled before he started to work again. “Oh that’s such a lie. Animals will always love you, just bewitch them like you have bewitched me a few times.” Santiago winked. “Pepito loves you, so maybe they just smell your fear of yourself.” He said and as if to show some love the pup walked towards Rowan and would circle his legs.

“As a wolf, maybe. The hair helps with the pricklin’.” Rowan observed the puppy for a moment, petting him and smiling. “I probably just have a new scent they were not used to...” Rowan said, and then took a deep breath through his nose, taking in Santiago’s scent. “Ye’re the one who bewitched me, to be honest.” He said, with a smirk. “Ye cast a spell on me with yer wand...”

Santiago kept working, but he was starting to sweat. He was one of those that would do so rather quickly under the phone. “A wall? That’s good for support if you decide to life with me with your new strength. How about we use the grass instead? Get down and dirty.” Santiago chuckled. “Well who says you can’t? To be witches are all the same and you have bewitched me several times already, Maybe be like Harry Potter and get an Owl, “He teased.

Rowan snorted, and shook his head. “The grass gets prickly.” He shook his head at the talk about owls. “Ye might be surprised to know, I’m not that great with animals. Well, not since I messed with the whole natural balance. They sense... somethin’ in me, ye know?” He shrugged. “But I am more of a lone wolf anyway. Ah. Pun intended.”

“Not at all, at least in the eyes of my community.” He told him as the other express his grievances. Sometimes he felt bad for people like him “Well at least you can say your life has not been boring. It is not everyday you can say all of that in one sentence.” He shrugged. “If it is old age though, most will say you have aged for the better.”

“Oh, interesting is a word I’d chose to describe my life, for sure...” Rowan shook his head, amused. “Do ye want something to drink? Or eat? I’m fresh out of virgin souls, but I’m sure I can find something just as appetising.” He teased.

Theodore laughed, but not because of what the other had said, but because of what the other had forgotten. “You think the nogitsune in front of you would judge you?” He asked him while scratching his left arm. “I would say that’s better than the laternative, you know, the one that has to be chained?”

Rowan hummed. “Ah. Aye, I guess ye’re not a saint either, given what ye are.” He hummed pensively. “Humans have their own chains, not all made of metal or silver. I’ve learned to live with it, mostly. I hope.” Rowan wasn’t sure he was ever going to get used to being nor entirely human. Then again, this was not the first time he had been something other than human. “Life keeps throwin’ this shit at me. I was gettin’ used to bein’ a Darrach, and then lost me powers. Then I got them back. And now I’m a werewolf.” He shook his head. “It’s startin’ to get hard to keep up, to be honest. Or maybe I’m just gettin’ old.”

Santiago had to stop and laugh. “Careful now. You might lose control of that wolfie side and want to pound me right here in the spot.” The hunter said with an obvious wink. “But nah , ya know I’m quite far away from perfection. I have many flaws, maybe even more than you. I’m just lucky to still have you in my life” Santiago told him. “Well if you want you can have him for the weekends. I don’t like being by yourself. You should get a familiar….and yes I know what that is, but don’t druids get some?”

“Oh, love, if I wanted to pin ye to a wall, it would have nothin’ to do with the fact I’m a werewolf.” He watched the dog for a moment, and then smiled. “I’d like the company, aye. We don’t exactly have familiars, but many of us tend to have some sort of stray animal we take care of. I used to feed some of the deer in the woods...” He shrugged softly. “But I haven’t seen them in a while.”

“I’m not surprise. I’m sure he is not the first enemy to friend you have made.” He was going to say lover, but even with Lysander’s history, he would doubt it. Theodore then laughed lightly. “I know that well, but it is also the small things that keep you at bay. Take that nail as a reminder that you are still human even behind all of these…new circumstances.”

“To be fair, I did torture one of his friends. And killed some people. But I’m a changed man, honest to the gods.” He said, crossing his fingers jokingly. “That nail can positively go shag its mother. I hate to be reminded I’m human. Humans are flawed and fetid. I’d know, I used to be one.”

“That’s always nice to hear.” He said and took a step back as he looked around. “I’m not going to ask, but civil is better than the alternative.” He commented. “I’m not going to give you anything from my personal collection. Also handcuffs won’t hold you off, though apparently a nail is.”

“Oh, he actually tried to kill me, once. So I’d say civil is a win.” Rowan lifted an eyebrow, curiosity clawing at the edge of his mind. “Yer personal collection, uh? Now that’s something I’d like to see.” He admitted. He looked at the nail, and sighed. “Sometimes, Theodore, it’s the small things that hold one back the most.”

“Including me right?” He asked and slowly took off his shirt after letting the other go. Was it needed? No, but was it nice to look at? Always. “Not just nice hips, but are you saying that I don’t?” He asked before he started to work. “Glad you like my new pup. isn’t he the cutest? Though he is also a smart-ass, so be careful. He might steal you from other men.”

“Aye, includin’ ye.” He said, with a wink. And then he watched Santiago unnecessarily taking is shirt off, and Rowan thought that in truth, the sight of a shirtless Santiago was actually very necessary. That body could either be the cause of wars, or the secret for world peace. “Oh, I’m not sayin’ ye don’t have good hips. Ye have great hips. And legs. And arms. And chest... In fact, everything about ye is just... perfect. Don’t it get tirin’ to be that perfect all he time?” He teased, as he petted Petpito. “He’s a good boy, that’s what he is.” He cooed at the puppy.

“Hopefully not by me.” He teased “But hey I’m not here to offend you, so go ahead and keep on trying.”

Rowan lifted an eyebrow. “Ye’re a nice lad to look at, but ye ain’t the biggest of me worries, no.” He admitted, and set the hammer down. “Either way, I think it’s time for tea. Care to join me?”

“You turned out more than fine.” He winked. One thing that he loved about Rowan was how he always played around with him. They could be on the same wavelength when it came to humor and humor was always important to him. “Of course you are. Some would say druids are brujos and brujos know how to make drinks.” He said before taking the hammer in exchange for the pup, but also kissed his cheek. “You are always a real man papi.”

“I turned out more than fine, for the record, and accordin’ to many lovers.” He joked. Rowan accepted the kiss, placing his hand on Santiago’s hip for a moment, before he started to busy himself with the task of preparing a cocktail for the both of them. Pepito watched him curiously, and Rowan couldn’t resist getting him a treat. “I’m a real man, with nice real hips, ain’t that right, Pepito?” He asked the dog, handing the pup his treat, but looking up at Santiago with a smirk.

“And you are not surprised already?” He asked as he let him inspect the bag. The answers that he gave him were to be expected, but the name he mentioned was not. “Lysander? So friends with them?” He asked rather curiously before shaking his hand. “Likewise…or at least lets hope it stays that way. “ He expressed before taking his hand away. “There is a paper with instructions to form a cocktail. It will weaken you even under the full moon. Taste like battery acid though so prepare to throw up. Nasir said he could offer some chains, which good thing because I don’t sell kinky shit.”

“Surprised? Not really. Pleased? Very.” He stated with a small smirk. “I wouldn’t say Lysander and I are friends...” Rowan admitted, with a small shrug. “But we’re civil.” He watched the small vial with the transparent liquid, and made a face. “I’m sure the cocktail will be delicious... Ye don’t sell kinky shite? Ah, too bad, here I thought ye could get me some handcuffs.”
