Tanya followed Ryan to the bar, leaning against it instead of taking a seat. She couldnât tell if it was out of habit from working here, or because she was nervous, or simply because she didnât want to spend her night off from work in her workplace.
The truth was, sheâd wanted to wait for a moment instead of rushing into this. Let them warm up to her. After all, she was the outsider here. Ryan might feel completely comfortable, but she couldnât help feeling like Remy and Finn would judge her. Sure, they liked her now, but what would happen when Ryan told them she was going to be around forever?
She sighed, looking at her feet. âWell, I suppose you have to, now.â
"Tell us what? Whatâs happened?" Remy asks, crossing her arms over her chest. She always felt like the protective one of the group, but not knowing if something was wrong or not was worrying her.
"Calm down, Punzie. Iâm sure itâs nothing bad. But then again, knowing RyanâŚ"
"Did you have to drag poor Tanya into it? Seriously, itâs amazing how much she puts up with you."
He flashed a reassuring smile at the girl, noting that she was getting more and more nervous. What was going on?
"That hurts, Finn. Almost makes me not want to tell you."
Ryan stood up, put his arm around Tanya's waist. "We're...getting married?"
