Can’t argue with that logic

I’ll be uploading it by how the chapters are in the novel, so there will be a prologue, six chapters, and an epilogue. Chapter one should be uploaded in the next 4-6 weeks. My goal is to get the entire novel done by next October. If you like it let me know, any feedback would be appreciated!

“B, wait,” L started, discomfort visible on his face. “That was…unnecessarily inappropriate of me to say. I apologize. I promise I will inform you when you will be allowed to leave- when I believe you’re ready, that is.”

“So what? I break L’s neck and wear his ratty hair like a stupid hat?” Alec deflected with humor. He knew deep down no matter how hard they pushed themselves past the breaking point none of the first generation would never be L. It was all worthless.

B doesn’t argue after that, choosing to walk along side A as they dip through the gap, avoiding getting scratched by the rusted metal and out into the forest. Eventually the fence will be fixed to prevent that but right now the staff doesn’t know, or care, B’s bets are on the later.  His eyes scan the trickle before looking over at where A’s attention is. “Oh shit do you think we’ll see one?”

“It was one time okay?” It was more than one time, but he doesn’t have a defense otherwise. "I think so. I think you should be able to hear it once you get closer.”
