Leon stumbled into Chris's safe-house, nearly putting his shoulder through the door with how heavily he leaned into it, gasping for breath. His ribs ached with each strained, shallow breath. His feet dragged across the threshold, pain radiating through his system as the tinnitus returned. He grit his teeth, his head pounding. As much as Leon would deny it, he needed Chris.

day 7 - secret relationship

perhaps,, not quite so secret now but it was for a while! i’m very tickled by the idea of a comedic take on chrisker, where it’s chris and his very evil husband that he has to occasionally smack on the wrist so he doesn’t blow up the universe or something

nothing changes, wesker is still a bioterrorist and chris still works for the bsaa but they’re also very squishy and in love. the bsaa has no clue abt this precisely until wesker decides to stroll right on in through the front doors like he owns the place bc,, who is going to stop him???

day 6 - flowers

i very purposefully picked all these flowers based off of these meanings:

hydrangeas: gratitude, heartfelt emotions, understanding

forget-me-nots: remembrance, true love, loyalty

camellias: gratitude, admiration, perfection

dandelion: resilience, strength, ability to overcome adversity

sunflowers: adoration, loyalty, longevity

freesias: innocence, friendship, trust

For @theredfielddiaries Chris Redfield Appreciation Week Day 5 Visual Prompt: Colors I have a lot going on, so unfortunately couldn't create a fic for this wonderful event, BUT I am constantly rotating Chris Redfield in my brain like a sexy little rotisserie chicken, and even when he's not DRESSED in green, he's often portrayed surrounded by greenery and in green light. Green is a really interesting color- because it means wealth, calmness, nature, growth, and prosperity. But it's also drenched in envy, sickness, and greed. It's one of those colors that can say so much, and I think Chris is one of those characters that is just this unending well of meaning. He is truly so complex, so while green is a very military color as well which is kind of the 'excuse' for using it with him so often, I also think that it does well to represent the kind of man he is.

day 5 - forced proximity

If you’d ask Chris how big his family was, he’d tell you it was pretty big. Some people would be surprised, since Chris had his sister only. However, Chris had a different definition of family. To him, family wasn’t only blood. To Chris, family extended to his close friends, Jill, Carlos, Forest, Joseph, and most importantly, his boyfriend, Leon. Maybe it wasn’t a huge number of people, but to Chris, it was big. or

Chris Redfield week - Day 4 - Found family

Her breath tickles against his neck as he carries her to bed. The soft rise and fall of her chest soothing against him. He looks down at her sleeping face and sees the innocence of the world still caught in her sleepy smile. She reminds him so much of Ethan, it hurts.

He's almost at her bed when he hears the quiet shuffle of Leon behind them. The rustle of his clothes when he leans back against the doorframe and smiles.

"What a day, who knew that kid can climb a tree in less than thirty seconds?"

"I did," Chris chuckles softly, "I'm usually the one who has to climb after her."

"I'd pay to watch that." Leon grins, and is no doubt, staring right at his ass. If he knows him at all.

"I'm sure you do," He leans down to place Rose in her bed, closing his eyes for a moment when the little girl tightens her grip on his neck. "It's alright, sweetheart. Papa's right here."

She relaxes slowly and he tucks her in with a kiss on her forehead. "Sleep tight, little thorn."

"Good night, Rosey." Leon comes up beside them and presses a soft kiss to her cheek. "Daddy got rid of all the monsters. Like he always does."

He smiles up at his partner, rising to his feet and pressing a soft kiss to Leon's lips.

day 4 - wolf

i know very little about the craft of mixing animals and humans (aka idk wtf i’m doing) so i did a bit of this and a bit of that and prayed, i think he’s a little cute tho :3

i also love re8 chris sm he’s absolutely exhausted and rightfully so, he’s been through so much yet i find that people really give him no grace when a chris breakdown has been in the cards for years (id say 6 kinda was as well)

Within the darkness of the makeshift coffin, were two blue eyes staring back at him. The same blue eyes that followed his movements around the station, peering at him before quickly finding the floor when Chris approached the young rookie, eager to show that he had something to offer beyond just being a mindless zombie in the judicial system.
