So, sea creatures play a big part sometimes in sea witchcraft, given the fact that if you work with the ocean you also work with its creatures. May it be in spirit or as a symbol. Today I’m gonna talk about them as symbols.

Each creature/animal has its own representation and has alot to offer in your craft, whether it is wearing (necklace or even a tattoo) or used in a spell chant for example; ‘May this spell show me what I need to know, may this spell guide me as a dolphin through the ocean…etc;’ and of course like I said you can also use them in spirit.

I’m going to list each sea creature and their symbols, to give you an understanding of the types you can look into.

Like in all my posts before I do, I can not stress enough that this is based on my own experience, people may think or do very differently with these symbols in their own craft.

Cernunnos has been my God of choice (well he chose me) for a little over three years now. I didn’t know it was him until I went on a Journey and saw him sitting there and a huge stag was behind him and he said I am forever his child and I am so happy to be his Daughter.

This is just some stuff I dedicate to him, you don’t necessarily have to do the same.

- a compression infused with oils is a great way to relieve bruises, burns, headaches, and even varicose veins.

- using hot/cold compresses can depend on your preference, but generally are most effective when you use them with responsive oils

- for example, a hot compress is ideal for skin infections (abscesses and boils), and muscular/joint problems that can include strains, backaches, rheumatism, and arthritis. for these issues, ginger, cypress, juniper, pine, and lavender oils are relieving and warming.

- cold water compresses are good for sprains and sports injuries, especially if it already feels hot and swollen. it also relieves headaches. use oils like lavender, neroli, peppermint, and eucalyptus to increase cooling effects.

- to make the compresses, you can add 3-4 drops of essential oils to a bowl of hot or cold water, mix it up and use 1 table spoon of a carrier oil (almond, sunflower, coconut, etc), and then drench and wring out a washcloth and apply it to the area bothering you.

- a tip for enhancing heated compresses: wrap cling wrap or a towel around it to insulate it. it also helps keep your clothes dry.

- repeat three times or as needed

I’ve been celebrating by making flower crowns with the kids and working in my grimoire This spell is for a friend of mine. I’ve been thinking a lot about liminal spaces, these places we go and feel a shift. The veil is so thin there that we can nearly touch the other side and innately we know there is more to this world than we can see.

I drew this because I saw a few of my followers were specifically anti-trans and I want to say this blog does not support those kinds of views.

People should live their lives as who they are and as happiest as they can be as long as they don’t harm anyone. We have this time on our beautiful Earth to explore ourselves, the world, and each other. That freedom is a right to every living creature.

I dont have a coven and only one irl witch friend

I live in such an unclean environment and i need to constantly cleanse myself

My room is a mess so i cant meditate

My altar is cluttered and small

Im not allowed to burn incense

I dont have tools

I have no clue how to start doing regular magick, where and how to research, and how to make offerings to deities

I dont know how to talk to/evoke spirits

This little spell jar is my own personal recipe for protection! You can light a candle while you make it and make sure to repeat your intent as you layer the ingredients. This simple but effective little jar contains:

Sea Salt

Ground Sage

Rosemary

Bay Leaves

Lavender Essential Oil (you don’t have to use an essential oil, i use it because I don’t have real lavender)

I am officially celebrating my first ever Beltane today!! Since this is my first Beltane, I thought I would share some of the things Im doing today!

1) Spring Cleaning

I dont want to have any clutter or negativity following me into the summer months, so I decided to clean and cleanse my space. Im tidying up here and there throughout the day and burning incense to cleanse.

2) Nature Walk

Where Im at, its been around 80°F and sunny most of the day today! So I took the opportunity to go on a bit of an adventure! I picked up pretty wildflowers with me along the way.

3) Pressed Flowers

The flowers I found on my walk were so pretty I decided to press them! I think Im going to look them up later to figure out the ones I dont know, and I might make a page of it in my grimwoire or bullet journal.

4) Research

Speaking of looking things up, since Im still new to the craft I thought I would do some research later. I might just focus on the flowers today, but I also might dig more into divination things.

5) Divination

I just want to light a candle and take some time to work with my oracle cards, nuff said lol

6) Spend time with people I love!

Ive been spending time with my parents throughout the day, whether it be watching a show together or helping out around the house. I also have some friends coming over later in the day! We were going to have a fire but it looks like it will be raining by then so we are just going to hang out and play bored games and watch movies instead!
