Twilight's anxiety is used for comedy most of the time, however, I am ready to see it explored more seriously.

In the latest chapter (spoilers?), he is literally so terrified and stressed his stomach was KILLING him the entire time. I realize it was meant to be funny (and it very much is!), but it is a serious issue that is genuinely debilitating for him quite often.

Maybe in the next chapter Yor will notice his stress and come up with an excuse to leave the party! Or possibly Yuri will be the one to notice and try to help in a strange, begrudging way. Loid's anxious side could serve as a flaw to relieve Yuri's jealousy over the fact that he's the "perfect husband" :)

This is not a criticism of Spy X Family in any way! I just think it would be interesting to see a flaw in an otherwise extremely competent character being explored in a serious manner.

He was so malnourished in the first few chapters I'm glad to see him actually filled out 😭

Outside of the obviously important developments in this chapter, I love the small detail of Loid putting on a little weight! Cutest 32-year-old man ever!

one of my favorite things about this panel is how we've never seen yor look like this. before she meets anya and loid, and when shes working as thorn princess, she tends to have a serious, almost empty expression (except when shes talking to yuri on the phone). THIS expression, though, is completely different. her eyes are completely black. i wouldnt even say this is thorn princess talking. this is maybe even more vulnerable than earlier in the chapter when shes crying. i think this comes from a much deeper place: yor was a girl who lost her parents, turned to contract killing to survive and realised at a very young age that people die. they die, just like that.

GUYS IT ALL MAKES SENSE NOW

Yor is already in a disguise of sorts in order to "play the role" of the female character from Five Year Love Plan...

If Loid ends up playing the male character, and they end up kissing, it would actually make a lot of sense because he would be in costume, too, and the kiss could represent their growing affection for one another despite their inability to be their true selves around each other.

I actually think this is a perfect time and place for a Twiyor kiss given this reason! It isn't a declaration of love yet, but it is a symbol of their current standing with one another, which has clearly made significant progress since the beginning of the manga.

Everyone's saying that next chapter we're gonna get a Twiyor kiss on live TV because the hijackers want to do a reshoot of the ending of Five Year Love Plan...

But what if, instead, only Yor is chosen for the reshoot, and she has to play the part of a loving couple with some random guy rather than Loid???

Loid would be FUMING with jealously, and Yuri would have some sort of crazy reaction... maybe this is how there two can finally work together! They have been in sync pretty much the whole chapter after all. They would work to put a stop to the reshoot before Yor has to kiss some random guy!

And who knows! Loid being jealous could lead to some flirty, possessive Twiyor moments... but maybe that's just wishful thinking 😉
