I exist and nobody can stop me.

There's a good chance you guys have seen @/nitrodestroyer14 within the community, they've interacted with a lot of different blogs from what I've seen. Even this one before I made Phantom.

Since I made the blog, however, they've demonstrated a plethora of questionable behavior both before AND AFTER I blocked them from my main and Phantom.

They first disobeyed my rules MULTIPLE times after I called them out on it. I unfortunately no longer have the old asks they sent, but here's a screenshot of them disobeying my rules on one of @sentinel-second's posts, blatantly lying to me about it, and the conversation Senti and I had about it.

Later, after I announced Phantom was alive, they left some pushy comments on multiple of my posts (this is just one of them, from this post).

I blocked them on my main and on Phantom not long after this. They then proceeded to go to MULTIPLE places, including @pharloom-white-knight and @identitycrisisincoming's Pharloomblr community, to attempt to figure out my main (despite it being in my pinned post????)

This in itself HORRIBLY creeps me out. Please please please block them, and do NOT give them my information if they reach out to you.

A few additional red flags pop up on their blog, too. First and foremost, they're a proshipper, which I know many of you explicitly have DNIs for.

Finally!!!! Perhaps the most GROSS thing (given that they've interacted so much with Phantom)!!! Enbyphobiaaaaa!!!

Report and block them. Please.

Their presence and behavior makes me feel genuinely unsafe and horrified. They are not owed an explanation on why I blocked them, nor do they deserve one at this point.

I considered myself lucky with the fact that I never had to deal with lacenet haters directly THAT much. it was like, a few comments I either blocked right away or warned if they were polite and understandable about it. like, it's ok if you don't know! this game's lore and story isn't straight up obvious. of course, there's a lot of room for interpretations, the problem is that people see one thing and are convinced that they're correct and then they refuse to look any deeper into the lore. so do be understandable of the annoyance from lacenet shippers, we've been through a lot of this shit, people are tired to defend their ship.

-- also, no, anon, I didn't even really ship lacenet in the years of silksong waiting. I respected the ship, I thought it was cool and amazing, but the dynamic made up by the fandom wasn't quite something I enjoyed all that much back then. the current one is perfect though.

so say, how IS lacenet pedophilia? is there any evidence that she was spun recently?

according to the lore, weavers turned against gms, then at some point some of them left the kingdom, while the ones that stayed slowly died out. we don't need to discuss why weavers aren't literal children of gms? right?

gms wanted to have loyal children, that was her reason to evolve weavers in the first place. after they abandoned her, I doubt gms waited centuries to create lace, she probably did it as soon as she realized that the weavers weren't loyal children.

I'd like to refer to the caretaker's lines.

the silence fell onto the citadel soon after the weavers abandoned it. it was given to the choir bugs, but soon their efforts were wasted too. there was no point for gms just sit and wait, she might have created phantom and later lace either when the choir was still there or maybe later after choir bugs died out - it doesn't quite matter imo, gms was in dormant state both then and later.

and hornet was born around that time too, after weavers left, after some time passed and after they founded the kingdom of deepnest next to hallownest.

now let's talk about the "childish" aspect. about the "mind to match" aspect. have you ever met childish people? childish personality adults? being one of them, I have to deal with others always treating me as if I'm twelve years old. strangers, doctors, teachers back in college, some clients at work. I don't think I even look like a teenager, I guess I give off childish vibes with my manner of speech or something, which makes people act really annoyingly about me. so every time lace is being called a literal child, I'm so sorry for her. me too, lace...

she's childish, yes! she's silly! as silly as a several centuries old citadel's serial murderer can be.

besides her childish personality, in lace's case "child" is her role. she was made to act like a child. she didn't have a choice really, she was designed that way. and she fought against the one who didn't let her grow and be something else.

no, that doesn't mean she's mentally a child either. if you think about it, the actions, the decisions she makes aren't something a 9-years-old would do.

first of all, her thought process is pretty self-aware,

she understands what's going on. she doesn't fight hornet to play with her. she has a motive she's fully aware of. she fully understands that she is imperfect and is to be replaced. she knows, she is aware that she is something that was made to act as a child, she knows her role. she tries her best to play her role so that she won't be replaced. I don't quite think that makes her a toddler.

later, in act3, she's quite aware of what's happened too. she knew what her rebellion would cause. she looks quite perceptive to me with all that in mind.

she acts immature, yes, with how jealous she is about the fact that her mother prefers this spider to be her daughter instead of lace. but that comes with the looming threat of being discarded, like her sibling was.

so. does this still make her a child? does this still make lacenet weird?
