so just some SU mini-theories that are probably not good
-when bismuth mentions “snowflake” she could be referring to a snow quartz, an actual type of quartz. This wouldn’t actually be a stretch, and seeing as a lot of people think “snowflake” has to be a snowflake obsidian isn’t necessarily true, as this wouldn’t be the first nickname we’ve heard bismuth say (she refers to another gem in the same sentence as “biggs” which to my knowledge isn’t a direct name for a type of gem).
-whoever shattered pink diamond was shapeshifting. I know, I know, it sounds like a major stretch. But, think about it. We don’t think Rose really would shatter her. Of course this could be very wrong, but for the sake of this theory, stay with me. And, the witnesses all say they saw Rose do it. So whoever did it must be someone who looks like Rose, at least. Wouldn’t it make sense that this person would physically change their appearance to look like the most wanted criminal on homeworld to get away with this cruel act? If we want to go super specific and pick a culprit then, and this is definitely a stretch, I would have to say our lovely Pearl. I know, it is a pretty big stretch. But if someone were to shapeshift into Rose and look convincingly like her, it would make sense that they would have a similar complexion. And as you can probably see where this is going, Pearl has pink hair and white skin, as Rose has pink hair and light pink skin. Rather convincing if you ask me. But why would Pearl do this? Well, you know she would do anything for Rose. And if she knew Rose was in danger during this war, I don’t see why she wouldn’t shatter a diamond to make sure she was safe. A little more evidence, Rebecca herself said hat Pearl is the crystal gem we know the least about. Plus, whenever the shattering of Pink is mentioned, she gets very shaken, though I guess this could just be because she is rather sensitive. Again, just a bit of a stretched theory, but you never know if a shapeshifter was the true criminal behind the act.
