Oh and then go to work, but I’m ignoring that fact for the moment 🙈! . I know some people will think it’s weird going to the gym on my birthday and wonder why I’m not still having pancakes in bed instead! It’s F-F-F....foam rolling time!! 😩 = 😌 . I had a very fun but brutal PT session this week at Gym Box (I got a complementary session as part of my membership package 💁🏻‍♀️) and it has left me with the mega DOMS 🏋🏻‍♀️ . I’ve been enjoying following the #bbg workouts the past few weeks but it was amazing to get back in the gym and lift some heavy stuff again!!! 👊🏻 . Side note: I realised I’d sadly deliberated for 10 minutes about whether to use this photo as I look like I’ve got a bit of chub on my side but then I just thought fuck it. If the absolute (and usually fake) perfection we all see on social media all the time is causing people like me (who rarely has a fuck to give about that sort of thing) doubt whether to put a photo up, that’s very worrying. Just Breathe 💆🏻‍♀️, you’ve already made it through Monday! . Last night I stepped out of my emotionally stunted comfort zone and went to @justbreathelondon ‘s Grand Gathering @thebritishmuseum 🙌🏻 . Although I’m all for meditation, it turns out (right now at least) I’m still a bit dead inside 🤣 and I have to say that, although I’m very glad I gave it a go, for the most part this particular event just wasn’t really my bag. That said, the venue was absolutely stunning, the event was expertly organised and there were hundreds of people there who were clearly much more in touch with their emotions than me and who were totally loving it 😍 . For anybody out there wanting to try a Just Breathe event, I’d still say go. I think it’s always important to try new things, even if you think they might not be for you.
