My boy Kavy hooked me up with @prairieales Paradise Imperial Stout while kicking at his pool. It was aged on coconut and vanilla and came in at 13% ABV. Malt, vanilla, roasted grain, and a touch of alcohol. It was delicious!

This was Banded Souls DIPA. It was a collaboration between Banded Horn and Barreled Souls breweries in Maine. It was a DIPA brewed with lime zest. The lime was a refreshing addition to the typical citrus flavor in a DIPA. It was really good!

This was @foundersbrewing Devil Dancer TIPA from 2013. Time - and my basement - didn't do this any favors. The malt was muted and the alcohol was present throughout. There was some citrus, but it was more the acid rather than the fruit flavor. It was still good, but not as good as I'd hoped.

So Lawson's Finest Liquids cans their beer...and distributes a lot of it outside of Vermont now! I bought The Space In Between in Maine at Bier Cellar. It's an undefined ale as they say there's no simple definition for it. It was earthy with some citrus and malt. It was good! I'm excited to try more from them without needing to go to Vermont.

My boy @byfield138 hooked me up with this @trilliumbrewing & @cloudwaterbrew collaboration: Exchange Student. It was a DIPA blended with a hefeweizen. It came in at 8.5% ABV. There were flavors of citrus, tropical fruit, a bit of bread, a touch of spice, and light bitterness. It was really good! I was in Austin, TX for work and met up with my boy @brother_camden for some post work food and drink. He suggested @pinthousepizzaburnet which was an excellent choice! They brew their own beer and have guest taps too. I started with their Warning Shot IPA which was great! Sorry for no notes, but trust me, it was delicious! I ordered Cannonball pizza and the Old Beluga Amber with it for dinner. Old Beluga is what you hope an amber ale will be.
