Trying to experiment with mashing up a classic Super Soaker 50 with Splatoon design elements. Also tried to imitate a mirrored surface for the first time, not a real time reflection. Not sure the forms are exaggerated enough to look Splatoon-y but I'm happy nonetheless

Making some xcom keychains to 3D print for funsies. Looking at only 7cm long so i’m not sure if the printer can handle the finer detail, but prototyping is cheap

So the detail is too much for the printer at this scale so it's a learning experience I guess

I think the two things in really trying to drill into myself, as an artist, is that progress is not linear and unpredictable, and to accept compliments gracefully instead of trying to undermine myself. It helps nobody to basically say thanks for the compliment but here's why it's wrong, and is a huge disservice to both you and the person giving compliments. I'm so glad to have friends that support me despite my stop and go art style
