I will miss you like I should

and I will let it stabilize me

as the thoughts of you will be my secret time machine.

Only those flashbacks are my remedy,

let it consume me.

-Day nine

(Part two)

Giving up to the weep of dawn,

I slept for hours hoping I’d wake up to find you home.

But it’s empty

Like a dark deep hole.

You’re everywhere,

Like the air I breathe,

I’m not doing well,

I’ve been daydreaming

of the restless dusk

a sky full of stars

& a tired moon.

You’re here

with your yellow heart,

Un-sheltering mine.

My head is messed up,

I have been running as fast as I can,

I have denied all the voices in my head,

I don’t need, I can’t..

I can’t miss what was never mine

& I’m not lost,

I’m delusional.

Do we know now?,

Or we will never know.

Maybe I just like to walk myself near the edge every once & awhile to feel the fear of falling & cherish life again.
