The PLL Detectives

I haven’t watched the whole of 7x17 yet but I saw the musical clip on YouTube and have just started watching the episode.

In the opening scene, AD says “you either deliver that gift or you’re getting hitched in CELL BLOCK SEVENTEEN”.

Aria’s dream is a musical sequence, that is very much like a scene from Chicago, The Musical, ‘Cell Block Tango’.

These are the lyrics Velma (a lead character):

‘My sister, VERONICA (she’s in Aria’s dream) and I had this double act and my husband, Charlie, traveled around with us. Now, for the last number in our act, we did 20 acrobatic tricks in a row. One two three four, five…splits, spread eagles, back flips,flip flops, one right after the other. Well, I (Aria) WAS IN SUCH A STATE OF SHOCK, I COMPLETELY BLACKED OUT. I CAN’T REMEMBER A THING. IT WASN’T UNTIL LATER, when I was washing the blood off my hands, I EVEN KNEW THEY (Cece was) WERE DEAD’.

Remember when Sparia team up to break into Sara’s Room?

Spencer found a ground plan of the Radley and a hole on the wall the leads to a SECRET PASSAGEWAY (ALSO 214 IS SHOWING UP AGAIN).

She dies on episode 7x06 which title is Wanted: Dead or Alive, if we go back to the plot of 6B/7A is A.D. hunting down Charlotte’s murderer… Sara dies, the one who killed charlotte is dead now, that’s why 7B is such a different plot for A.D. . A.D. killed Sara Harvey.

Sara use the secret passageway from the radley to the church, killed Charlotte, came back to Radley like nothing happened. Remember when -Amoji sent this to the liars? We already know that this floor on the background is from The Radley’s room… The crime weapon!

I think A.D. put the secret passageway on the boardgame to reveal this to the girls, later…

PLL 3x22 “Will the Circle Be Unbroken?”

When you get those season 3 Twincer feels.

I feel like, if we are in the midst of a Spencer twin, … this is where she came in to the story.

If you rewatch this episode with the assumption that there’s a twin, then the shit she says in Radley takes on an entirely new meaning.

Spencer: “I wasn’t Spencer Hastings for almost a whole day, and nobody else showed up to take the job… so, I guess I’m stuck with it.”

Dr. Sullivan: “Because you’re the only person in the world that can be you.”

How lovely of a call back moment would that be? To look back and say ‘this is Spencer’s twin pretending to be burdened with Spencer’s life.’

Spencer continues in the conversation by saying “There are people here with real problems.”

Dr. Sullivan: “Just like you.”

And there’s this moment where she looks around at all the other patients in the room and says “Yeah. Just like me.”

It’s a moment where she’s realizing that’s she’s as wounded and damaged as every one else in the room.

She goes on to talk about “The worst thing that can happen.”

Spencer: “I fell down in the woods. When I was running. I fell down, and I looked at the ground, and I saw my hand, and my sleeve and the little button on my sleeve. And some dirt. And an old acorn, and I said to myself: 'Okay if this is the last thing that you ever see… I can handle that. I’m done. I’ve had enough.’

But it wasn’t the last thing I saw. I just kept going. How do you keep going when the worst thing has happened? What do you have to change inside to survive? Who do you have to become?”

What if “The worst thing” that she’s talking about isn’t Toby’s death? What if this isn’t Spencer recalling yesterday’s events, but Twincer reliving something else entirely? Maybe something from 'That Night’?

She talks about “The worst thing” like something that’s further in the past. Like something she’s had a long time to process and feel the effects of.

In the end of the episode, all of the girls in the room become a visual of the Liars, sitting and listening to her story… and she looks at them and says “You don’t know me. I’m sorry. But that’s true. You don’t know who I am anymore.”

I know we took all of this as indicator of Spencer joining the A team… but… this is before Mona showed up to offer her another go.

Who did she become after discovering Toby’s death, but before joining 'A’?

Lucas behavior in season 3 now makes so much sense. His comments he made to Caleb in the science lab. Now are a huge clue .

 Caleb : I know all about Mona being A.

Lucas : That’s just the tip of the iceberg a lot more underneath the surface.

Caleb : Ancent history 

Lucas : More like current events , you know ripped from today’s headlines 

Caleb: What headlines are talking about ?

(Lucas doesn’t answer and he pauses as if he wants to say. He is struggling with something. Then he changed the subject.)

Lucas : icebergs turn over did you know that? They just roll over and bring up all that buried junk. You don’t want rock get to close when that happens. 

Caleb : Is that a threat ?

Lucas : it’s an observation.

This scene is before the science lab it’s the reason Caleb even went to talk to Lucas. He comes out of the principal office and Hanna sees him and goes after him to see if he is okay. Lucas has to ice a letter to his parents about how he has been in school lately. Lucas change came out of nowhere and now it’s clear that he just found out about Charlotte. And all that she had been through. 

Lucas was seen at Radley by Hanna and the new she confronted him outside of Radley with Caleb. 

Hanna goes after him and accuse him a visiting Mona. 

Lucas says maybe and he could have a lot of emotional disturbed friends. 

And Hanna says she saw him going into the Day room.

At that point Lucas has to lie in say he is visiting Mona . 

They don’t know about Charlotte why else would he be there.

I really think this is when he begin dealing with the information Charlotte had given him.

Then we see Lucas again he is happy and tells Hanna he has a gf but we never meet her . I think it was Charlotte he was talking about. 

So, I thought it was almost confirmed that Darren was beach hottie, right? (At least, I thought that that’s what the show led us to believe). But in a recent interview, Sasha mentions beach hottie and she says “we thought he was Darren”. Maybe I’m imagining things, but after saying that she gasps, like thinking “I said something I shouldn’t have”.  Later in that interview, Troian says to the cameras (or the people who created the game they were playing, I guess), “you separated Darren and beach hottie” like, “just in case, we didn’t reveal anything, you did”.
