If you sit next to the person on the bus who you see as spasming and twitching... most of the time they'll continue to move the same way they were with no ill intent to you. It's not dangerous, it's tourettes/stimming/cerebral palsy symptoms.

If you chat to the homeless man yelling to himself outside the shops... most of the time you'll learn why he's upset, have a chat that makes him feel less alone, and he won't want your help or will calm down because he's been acknowledged.

If you check on the woman moaning and writhing in her seat on the train... most of the time you'll find she's hungover or in withdrawal or suffering from a chronic medical problem, and you can offer support that could make her feel better or save her life.

Effective today, Google has discontinued the Tenor API, which you may not be familiar with by name. You’ve probably used it, though. Tenor is a database of searchable GIFs, which used to serve animated images to sites like X/Twitter, Discord, and more. Now, it only serves Google—maybe the headstone is a bit premature.

And Google’s about to block sites on phones for non-Android and non-Apple users too because their captcha system requires one of the two brands.

It’s so evil, dude. They use the excuse that it’s to block bots and malicious actors but how about judging suspicious account activity from the actual activity instead of by what brand a customer uses?

This is reminding me of how EA blocked me from their forums after I posted a genuine bug I ran into playing MySims. And it was just because I used an email alias service instead of giving my raw email.

Later during my 6-month employee review, the same supervisor said, "sometimes when you correct people, you can come on a little too strong and intimidate or offend people."

We went over the specific instances he was referring to, and I said, "I don't think I was unfair or too harsh in any of those situations. I think I was just straightforward for clarity."

He said, "maybe you don't realize your tone is too harsh because you're Autistic?"

So there it is.

If someone's very obviously singling you out to be outright cruel and unfair, you must give them the benefit of the doubt, because you're Autistic and cannot understand.
