Well, my career objectives are either an Auror or a teaching position at school, but I’ve applied to other places as well, like Flourish and Blotts, just for an opportunity for experience and money.

It’s hard to believe that I got off the train at King’s Cross for the last time a few days ago. I have a few interviews lined up for various jobs, both of a career type and the type just for paychecks and experience. But for right now, I’m just spending time with my family.

So, my parents have signed me up for a dozen classes on how to “defend myself” in light of the recent events these past few years - which is absolutely great considering the guy running those classes has an A+ butt and is beautiful to be looking at. I’d 100% recommend it, honestly.

We’ve grown up quite a bit, haven’t we, Lils? Kind of strange to think back to the first day. I thought I was so cool coming to Hogwarts for the first time when I really was such a little shit.

Not exactly: arguably anyone with decent planning skills or the ability to lean on an inside man can get two minutes of surprise.  We managed to drive them back: not without losses, but they couldn’t hold their position.  Hogwarts is still safe.  We simply now need to be more vigilant about carrying our weight to help keep it so.  It’s good to hear that you weren’t badly injured, and that you’re still thinking clearly.  Yes: if I remember the term correctly, I believe the tactic used is called “Shock and Awe”: a spectacular display of power meant to destroy the other side’s confidence and distort their perception of the fight.  

Yeah but not without losses so clearly we weren’t good enough. We need to shape up. We need to do whatever it takes to make sure it doesn’t happen again. I see. Well, I think they showed us we need to get more powerful.

That’s why we need to do the fucking work. I’m good, thanks.

What happened to you Lysander     Are you okay? I am so sick and tired of sitting around, and letting things such as this happen. I respect how our professors handles the situation and others that has occurred, but we have a castle, gifted with many great wizards as you say; And a lot of us could make a difference. 

I just got surprised by the Brotherhood. I’m fine. I know what you mean. I just feel like we have to do so much. We have a lot of catching up to do. It’s.. war.

Same, that we do and we have to definitely go back to the drawing board if we’re wanting to keep Hogwarts as our safe haven. Along with not losing anyone or having more injured people.

I do really really want to hug you guys. And make sure you’re okay. Mum’s been owling me all day for an update. I had to tell her you were okay just so she wouldn’t kill Pandora with all the flying back and forth. I know you do but I also feel the same way. The idea that you got hurt and I wasn’t there to help makes me mad at myself. I couldn’t help at the wedding, and now this attack. Its not looking good for me on the fighting front. At least you won’t have any scars. I know how you feel about your face.
