It took Sean several long moments to realize that he’d actually been spoken to. He lifted his head slowly, the supressor collar on his neck was heavy, and it hurt his neck to hold his head up too much. 

His vision was a little blurry, but he could make out the person in front of him, sort of… He didn’t look like any of the scientists. Sean blinked, trying to clear his eyes. That failing, he brought his cuffed hands up to wipe at his eyes.

“L-Lex?” Speaking was painful. His voice was only just starting to come back from when he’d been made to scream himself hoarse to… He didn’t want to think about that.

He’s about eighty five percent sure she’s going to kill him, but frankly, most people would say he probably deserves it.  Any shame he feels, he tries to chalk up to Mary’s ability to bend reality.  And the fact that she’s wearing Mercy’s face during this conversation.  He’d liked Mercy, she’d been good to him.  And he was the reason she was D E A D.
