âTheo.â James repeated with a nod of his head, flashing her an apologetic smile. âI swear, Iâm going to remember it one of these days.â He tapped his temple lightly with a smile still resting on his features. While he might have not remembered her name, James was impressed with himself for remembering that he knew her, that she was Allieâs roommate. It was far better than what he was able to remember most days, especially after only have met someone once before. âAt least you made it out tonight. Hopefully youâll be able to relax and have a good time. Not worry about work and all of that.â James said with a nod of his head as he lowered himself to sit on a low nearby wall. Glad for the fresh away and to get away from the noise of everything that was going on inside.Â
Theo brought her hand up to wave it off. âThis is only our second time meeting. Iâm not going to hold it against you.â She promised him with another smile. She had to be good at remembering names with her job. Knowing regular customers, their prescriptions and if they ended up stopping her on the street to ask her questions about them ( which happened quite a bit ). She was just glad she was able to have that type of memory. âI hope so. Or Iâll have a couple of drinks, go home and fall asleep on the couch.â she semi-joked. âHowâs it going for you? I caught a glimpse of you two dancing. You seem to be enjoying yourself.âÂ
