Because we just can’t get enough of that #deepdish #deepconcave from @kompressionwheels. Make sure you check this #video out. With some #wheels it takes 2 or 3 looks to take in all the details. It is a case of the more you look, the more you see. This can be both a good thing for impact & wow factor while also being a bad thing as the viewer’s eyes can dance around between them all & never take it all in. It takes a very well thought out design to balance these details & keep them in an order that flows together. This is the second time we have featured a video of this stunning @kompressionwheels RLU-756 design that measures in at a staggering 24”x15” with 11” outer lips all finished in a combination of polished & brushed #rose #gold. The details in the spoke ridges & how they are carried through to the #wheel centre are the knock out blows of this design. Despite them being loaded with design details that all work harmoniously together. As crazy as this wheel is a little birdie told us there is something even more insane just laying around the Kompression shop that we have demanded to see. Trust us when we say this one will be on another level & we can’t wait to share it with all of you! A little flower power for your Finish Friday posts here on The Offset. Would you have this #wheel on your car? In the past we have featured #wheels with flower finishes on them which have received a very mixed response. The other finishes had flowers that were more of a fine china style rather then the larger, almost hippy flower power style like this one here. It is one of those finishes that will make a huge impact but may date very quickly in our opinion. Deep dish fitment is no longer just for the rear wheels! Do you like #deepdish fitment on the front wheels? The #fitment game is an interesting one, everyone has a different style that they like. For some it is the OEM style fitment, nothing aggressive just neat & tidy like it came that way from the factory. For others it is the flush with the guard style fitment, it’s that look of the guards being filled more, slightly wider track & a more modified feel. Then there is those who like to push the extremes with either tucking up into the guards or aggressive fitment with the #wheel sticking out. Both these styles gain maximum exposure & turn more heads then a naked person on the busiest street in town. This picture here of this @watercooledind’s wheel is going for the tucking into the guards with as much dish possible fitment. Now this is one design we have been looking forward to seeing come to life for a long time. Do you #love or #hate this design from @joywheels? The #wheel industry is currently experience huge growth in the small designers/brands area of the market. With design software readily available & easy access to machine shops of those in the know these designers finally have a way to turn their dreams into reality. What it also does is see more creative & unique designs hitting the market as they are not bound to the same costs & structures as major companies. This wheel from @joywheels is loosely based on a mesh style while using diamond shaped cut outs & a flat, almost full face profile. Now this is flash as hell, are you a fan of the finish combination on this @agwheels? There are certain rules we have spoken about in the past with relation to finish combinations & what should & shouldn’t go together. Normally two super bling, in your face finishes, shouldn’t go together as they will end up fighting each other for your attention. But just like any rule they are made to be broken & the results can change your opinion on what can & can’t be done. This @agwheels stunner has a #gold centre with #neochrome lip to create the ultimate stare at me finish combination. What is interesting is in this pic is that the gold over powers the neochrome & it almost fades away somewhat would be interesting to see it in the day light. The details on @callmiro’s #wheels for his new Charger are truly mind blowing! At times the internet & social media can numb us to how insane some wheels are. We now have access to see wheels that were once only urban legends or seen at shows once year, all at our fingers no matter where we are (hi to those reading this on the toilet!). Maybe for those new to wheels or for those people who are not easily impressed seeing @callmiro’s new @rsvforged wheels might just be another wide #wheel on the internet but take this in for a second. They measure in at 21"x14" with a negative offset way, way into the 100’s & a centre profile with so much #concave it should be sold in the same shops as porn. This is the kind of wheel that a car is built around & makes people in the know stand up & pay attention. From the subtle to the aggressive with these #turbofans. Do you like this style of #turbofan? With anything in life some people like the more aggressive approach to certain things & this is the case with turbo fan fitment. While many purists like argue that this is never how the originals were meant to fit or wasn’t their intended purpose there are those who like to go against the grain. The aggressive or sticking out of the #wheel fitment has a certain mad max/death race feel about it & sure does turn a lot of heads. Here @thomasrofstad nailed the cut your legs off turbo fan fitment on his #opel #ascona. Kicking off #turbotuesday with these @bbs.wheels #turbofans. This #turbofan fitment is slightly different from most, if not all of the others we normally feature as they are set into the dish of this #wheel. This is a much more subtle approach rather then being the super aggressive hanging out of the wheel trying to cut your legs off we are normally used to. What this fitment does do is balance out the in your face nature of #pandem #widebody kit & the smaller diameter #bbs #wheels really complete the #dtm race car feel of the car. Now this is not only a perfectly matched set of #wheels but also on point #fitment. Would you have selected this @brixtonforged #wheel? We talk a lot about selecting wheel designs which suit the the lines & body styling of the car. For some people they will believe that they can make just about wheel work on any car, this however is very far from the truth. Far too often we see trend wheels put on cars they just are not suited to all just so someone can fit in with the cool crowd at that point in time. A well matched wheel design will always make a bigger impact for the right reasons then a poorly matched one. What happens when you combine two neck snapping design features? You get all the attention! When it comes to trend finishes #neochrome is the new “it" finish that everyone who is looking to gain maximum amounts of attention. We have discussed in the past how with neochrome that a little goes a very long way & too much can really work against you. Normally when the #wheel centre is neochrome it can be very over powering but in this case it really works. The thin spoke of the @agwheels design along with the monster #deepdish help to stop the neochrome from being overwhelming & keep it balance out. We #love neochrome in small doses but think it is a very fine line. Now this is an interesting finish colour, are you a fan of it? Thought we would start off #finishfriday with a finish that is a little different from the norm. We have in the past spoken about how many different finishes there are available these days, it’s at the point now where if you can imagine it you can finish a #wheel in it. This finish from @purwheels caught our eye because it was slightly different from the bronze style shades we are used to seeing. This is matte chestnut brown on the face with a gloss monaco on the lips. TBT to one of our favourite OEM #wheel swaps of all time. Are you a fan of these #bugatti #wheels on this #bmw? Recently we have been featuring more & more OEM wheel swaps as they increase in popularity. When @nicksinghsahoto first showed his #m3 off with it’s latest #fitment the internet went into melt down mode. It was so different but worked so well with the overall DTM style of the car. The OEM #bbs wheels required custom centre lock hubs be fitted to the car so they could be fitted up. These wheels create such a striking impression & are still on the car after a year snapping just as many necks. Who is thirsty? We guess this is one way to store your cans. We have said it before & we will say it again, we just don’t understand the trend of filling your #deepdish #wheels with cans or bottles. Sure it shows off how much dish you have/how deep your wheels are but there is the risk of damaging highly polished or chrome finishes when sitting the cans in there. Maybe we are just over cautious when it comes to our #wheel finish or maybe we just are not up with the trends like the cool kids. Either way @yuii510_acrophobia’s #datsun #510 is cool as hell with it’s #slammed, deep dish #fitment & #widebody. This type of #wheel profile has arguably been their signature style over the years, they were the pioneers of this wheel design trend that continues to be extremely popular. This wheel measures in at 20 x 13” on the rear & is calling a #r35 #gtr home. They don’t call it #widewheelwednesday for nothing! Tag a mate who likes them wide & deep! There are wide wheels then there are those who’s width is almost as big as their diameter. The #wheels that fall into the category are reserved only for the most epic of fitments, cars with hips so wide they should be wearing a warning sign. Hips so wide your first thought would be,”Damn thats a big booty!”. Wide hips aside these @brixtonforged wheels measure in at 18 x 13” with more dish then a commercial kitchen & are going to fill the wide guards of a #rwb #porsche. Do you ever get sick of seeing #concave & #deepdish together? When it comes to things that go hand in hand #deepconcave & deep dish are the perfect couple. They create that huge wow factor on any fitment & combine 2 killer design elements into one #wheel. When it comes to wheels featuring these 2 elements a lot of people struggle with the cost associated with them. The is a huge amount of design time, engineering time, machining time & material costs involved to create something that is so stunning which dictates the price of the finished product.
