Sixth Street Bridge Festival, Los Angeles; Oct. 24, 2015 They're going to tear down the beloved old bridge and replace it, so yesterday they threw a farewell party. Fantastic. Tangential tale: As I was riding my bike to the festival, I got rear-ended by an SUV. The driver honked, and I turned around just in time to see her bump my back tire. The collision knocked me forward, but I didn't fall, and there was no damage to me or the bike. I yelled "What the hell is wrong with you?" and kept riding. After she hit me, the driver kept honking and pulling over, wanting me to stop. I waved her off, angrily.
