obsession name: Hue Foil Brocade Leggings, in Gold
where to buy: Â nordstrom.com or bloomingdales.com (on sale for $33.00, from $44.00)
why the obsession:
One of the things Iâve had to learn moving from Florida to Colorado is that I have to be on the lookout for new ways of dressing up during the colder months. In Florida, I can easily look âfancyâ by throwing on a nice dress, bare legs, heels and not be freezing. Well, not so much in Denver (although I have seen girls wear a tight dress, bare legs and high heels when itâs 20 out for New Years Eveâs⊠not this girl though!) In any case, Iâm always on the lookout for fancy clothes that will keep me somewhat warm. I came across these Hue Foil Brocade Leggings in Gold one online browsing afternoon, and knew I absolutely had to have them for my slowly growing âfancyâ winter wardrobe.
First, I want to just say that my favorite thing about these Hue leggings is that the quality is amazing for the price. They are made of out a rayon/nylon/spandex mix, but they have a just-right weight on them. I was a little worried that for the price, it would be really thin and/or sheer, but that was not the case at all. The fit is also extremely flattering and comfortable, which is surprising since I hate pretty much anything that resembles jeggings that Iâve come across. The brocade print is very on-trend (without being tacky), and all I have to do is to throw on a black tee or black sweater to dress it down, or maybe a black silk shirt to dress it up. I had to wait a few days to buy it online since it would sell out within minutes, but I am so happy I have gotten my hands on a pair. The black and gold version is absolutely perfect for fall and winter parties. As hubby says, âa pair of fancy pants for my Mrs. Fancy Pants!â

obsession name: Vince Camuto Windetta Studded Moto Booties, in Lead
purchased from: Â macys.com
why the obsession:
One of the smarter fashion shopping tips I try to adhere to regularly analyzing your closet and only making purchases for items I absolutely donât have (along with budgeting and prioritizing, of course). Well, one item I didnât have any of, was a pair of gray boots. I love the color gray â such a great neutral color for winter and can still transition great into spring. A few weeks ago, Macyâs was having a 30% sale on boots and I came across these gray beauties, Vince Camuto Windetta Studded Moto Booties in Lead. Vince Camuto (the designer) is an American footwear designer legend (see fashion history tidbit below) although his namesake footwear line was only launched in 2005. Every time I flip through issues of Instyle or Vogue, I always drool over the Vince Camuto shoe ads, and I always make a mental note to eventually purchase something from the collection. I finally decided it was time and I couldnât be happier with my new pair of Vince Camuto moto booties.
When I first came across the Windetta Boots, I actually saw the Black/Gold version first, but I already have a pair of black/gold boots. The Windetta Boots are everything you can want in a pair of moto booties â itâs cool, itâs edgy, but not overdone. The gold or gunmetal hardware is perfectly placed, in my opinion, with the two studded rows over the back and the perfectly sized shoe buckle. The boot height is perfect for a short skirt with or without tights, or for tucking a pair of leather leggings. The leather is very soft, and the quality and design is absolutely excellent for the price point. The best part is that it is very, very comfortable and does not need to be broken in. Since I got mine at 30% off, I couldnât be happier with my new pair of booties!
tidbit of fashion history:
Vince Camuto has been in the fashion industry since 1978 even though his namesake shoe collection was only launched in 2005. His resume includes co-founding Nine West and serving as its creative director before becoming CEO in 1993, before Nine West was sold to Jones Apparel Group in 1999. He is also behind four Dillardâs footwear brands, including Antonio Melani and Gianni Bini (I have obsessed over Gianni Bini shoes). Additionally, he partnered with Tory Burch to launch her footwear collection and collaborated with her to create the ever-popular Reva ballet flat. If that doesnât speak to American footwear royalty, I donât know what!

obsession name: Graphic Stained Glass Print De Manta Clutch
where to buy: Â alexandermcqueen.com
why the obsession:
Iâve been obsessing with clutches recently, for day and night. Sometimes you just want to bring the essentials and nothing else. When I bring a clutch, itâs a lot less fuss going out, whether it is running errands or meeting friends. Itâs also easier to switch out the three or four things in it to another clutch. It also helps me get rid of just collecting/storing random purse items over time. Of course, I donât think I have a more favorite clutch designer out there right now other than Alexander McQueen. Iâve obsessed about the skull box clutches before in the past, but when I saw this Graphic Stained Glass Print De Manta Clutch â how can you not obsess?
Iâm obsessed for several reasons. First, how beautiful is that stained glass print? It makes it beautiful and edgy without being too girly. Itâs carrying a little piece of beautiful cathedral art in the palm of your hand. I also love the clutchâs unconventional shape, with the folded in corners and the dip in the middle. The print also maintains its symmetry even with its folded corners. I also love how it comes a variety of materials and prints, so if you donât like this particular print you have other choices to pick from. Itâs also not too small, not too big in my opinion. Iâm not sure about the durability of the fabric, but compared to other Alexander McQueen clutches, it is on the more affordable side of things. Love it!
twin obsession:

As the recent weather has definitely taken a turn on the cooler side, I canât help but be excited for this upcoming coat and boot season. Looking over my closet, there are a few things I want to get for fall. On the top of my wish list is a black leather jacket â I probably should have owned one a long time ago, seeing how this can be classified as a âcloset stapleâ but anyway for one reason or another I have never owned a black leather jacket. As I browse the different stores and sites there are so many different styles and fit options, itâs hard to narrow down which one I like best. I would say the front-runner at the moment is this Leather Bomber Jacket from Victoriaâs Secret. I think it pretty much meets the overall criteria of what I would look for in a leather jacketâŠ
Iâm obsessed for several reasons. I love the overall fit and look of this jacket, with an cinched waist and asymmetrical zipper. Leather jackets give off this tough and edgy look, so I think it should have a feminine fit to balance it all out. Iâm also obsessing over the faux fur hood, it should be pretty handy for those slightly chillier nights plus it also softens the look as well. Did I mention the two front zip pockets? A place for my hands is key to a great jacket. The price also seems relatively affordable compared to other quality leather jackets at other stores, and itâs also on sale right now at additional 20% off. To top it all off, I love getting outerwear at Victoriaâs Secret - most of my wool coats have been Victoriaâs Secret purchases. Not sure how many out there know, but I would definitely recommend them as a great place to get form-fitting, fashionable, classic and timeless outerwear at a great price.Â

I was definitely beyond excited when I first heard about Targetâs Fall 2013 designer collaboration a few months back, designer Phillip Limâs new 3.1 Phillip Lim for Target collection. In times of designer collaborations, Iâve learned over the past few seasons that there are a few tips one must follow in order to ensure shopping success. One of the most important being, scout out the collection in advance online and choose the pieces you would like to own, in order of priority. Trust me, when itâs 3 am and the collection just got released online, or itâs 7 or 8 am and youâre standing in a Black Friday-esque line of excited ladies, you better know what you want, grab it as quickly as possible and get out asap. There is almost ZERO time to think or even look around, you are up against some die-hard veteran shoppers (or those blasted eBay auctioneers) who are out for blood. (Ok, so maybe not exactly blood, but a purse, shoe or dress from the collection) So, in the case of 3.1 Phillip Lim for Target, I knew my top priority was (were) the Mini Satchel(s) with Gusset, in taupe, black and/or yellow (whichever I could get to first). But, that was pretty much it for me. To my surprise, after I quickly nabbed my Mini Satchels (I was able to get a taupe and black version), I started looking around to see what was left, when I spotted a 3.1 Phillip Lim for Target Shirt Dress in Floral Print that caught my eye. I quickly snatched it off the racks to try it on, and I was pleasantly surprised â the dress was more beautiful than what I expected, from what I saw on the hanger and online pics. SOLD!
I am obsessed with this dress for several reasons. First off, Iâm Asian, so Iâve seen my fair share of typical Asian/Chinese dresses â and what I love with what Phillip Lim has done here is that he was able to keep the aesthetic of traditional Asian dresses but modernizing it. He modernizes the dress by giving it a shirtdress fit, full front zipper closure, round neck (instead of a small turtleneck) and a uniquely flared shirtdress skirt. He keeps the aesthetic by sticking with floral fabric, the conservative nature of the dress with its neckline and short sleeves, and its fairly modest hemline (the dress is not at all a short shirt dress). The dress also fits surprisingly well without tailoring and seems to be really well made for its price. With a pair of black ballet flats, the look is very chic. I would say the only worry I have is the zipper seems a little sketchy, but hopefully it lasts and if not, well that seems to be a fairly easy fix. At $39.99 and having the talented high-end designer Phillip Lim behind the dress, that is quite the surprise steal at this yearâs Target collaboration!

obsession name: MICHAEL Michael Kors Bedford Gusset Crossbody Bag, in Sapphire
why the obsession:
Iâve been obsessing over Celine bags for some time now. For the last few years, it really has been âtheâ handbag line to have (of course, in addition to Givenchy) and personally I give them all the credit for bringing back minimalism and understated elegance to womenâs purses everywhere. Before Celine, most everyone loved a logo-covered bag. In any case, Iâve been trying to figure out which Celine bag to save up for (and there will be some saving for sure!) and I came to the conclusion that the Trio seemed like a good entry-level option. Still, about 1K for a fairly small crossbody bag still seems like a LOT to swallow and hence my hesitation. I knew there were several âinspired by Trioâ designs out there, but it wasnât until I saw this MICHAEL Michael Kors Bedford Gusset Crossbody bag that I knew I had found the perfect âlook for lessâ option. And that STUNNING blue sapphire color is just icing on the cake.
Iâm obsessed for many reasons. First off, I really do love the triple-pouch design, while it may be nothing new, personally for me it was a brand new idea. A pouch for credit cards, a pouch for my phone, and a pouch for my keys. What else does one need in a purse anyway? Although you cannot detach one pouch from the other (as can be done in a Trio), I love that the Bedford includes a detachable and adjustable strap. So the option to carry it as a clutch intrigues me and adds to it versatility (and perhaps transforms it to a more formal option). I also love that the Bedford used pebbled leather, it looks soft and smooshy from the pictures online. Inside is lined with Michael Kors monogram, and includes one zip pocket and several card slots. Did I mention that both Bedford and the Trio come in many yummy colors? My favorite Bedford color would definitely be this sapphire blue. My favorite part about the Bedford, however, is that it is one-fifth ($198) the price of the Celine Trio. Now if only I could find such a gorgeous âlook for lessâ options for everything on my wishlistâŠ
twin obsession:
The one, the only, the original Celine Trio, of course! (Image from rte.ie)
obsession name: Dolce & Gabbana Women Sunglasses Barocco Collection â Butterfly Frame in Gold
why the obsession:
One of my most favorite things about our house in Denver is the fact that the previous owners were landscapers. Really what this translates into is that I get âsurprisedâ with flowers almost every month. Case in point â in early spring my husband threatened to pull these ârandom weedsâ which turned out to be hot pink peonies, early summer the âdead bushesâ turned out not to be dead at all but rather teacup roses â and most recently, the âfiller bushâ out back is springing pretty purple flowers, which, I donât know what itâs called but kinda looks like lily of the valley (?). In any case, I love seeing flowers from unexpected places, so you can bet how happy I was they turned up in the prettiest pair of sunglasses Iâve ever seen. It may be a little too baroque for some, but for me, Iâm completely obsessed with Dolce and Gabbanaâs Barocco Collection, specifically with this butterfly frame in gold.
Iâm obsessed with these glasses for many reasons. First, the opulence!!!! Itâs so luxurious, I can only imagine you feel like a million bucks with these babies on. Second, the gold and the white temple tips make this perfect for either summer or fall. Third, just when you think youâve seen it all with sunglass design, this concept of floral frames feels so new and different. I definitely seem to see more designers play around more with their sunglass designs than in the past, itâs not just a simple accessory anymore. The only thing is, Iâm not sure that you can get these online, looks like I will have to visit D&G sunglass retailers to see if I can see this in real life⊠(and of course, try them on).
twin obsession:
For those who prefer more subtle baroque sunglasses, these Dolce & Gabbana Barocco Sunglasses â Geometric Frame in Transparent Cognac would be perfect!
where to buy: nordstrom.com, or Nordstrom stores near you
why the obsession:
I have a major shoe crush. Well, yes, I have many shoe crushes but this crush is pretty serious. Ballet flats have been done and re-done over and over again, so to see one and think itâs different from all the rest is so refreshing. Iâm currently pretty obsessed with Salvatore Ferragamoâs Varina flats. Itâs so simple and straightforward but a true classic. The design of the shoe, with its rounded toe, grosgrain bow and gold Ferragamo plaque has been a bestselling icon for Ferragamo since 1978, so that is a true testament of its timeless design. Personally, I am loving the quilted Testa Moro Tortoise version, perfect for transitioning into fall.
I am obsessed with this shoe for many reasons. Even though the base design is classic, Iâve seen them in every color and material possible. Iâve seen this design in lace, laser-cut leather, patent leather, matte leather, suede, floral print, quilted, leopard print, tortoise print, glitter, studdedâŠthe options have been endless. The best part? If you donât see a stock one you like, you can customize your own flats and create your own combinations with the materials, initials, bow color, size and width that you like. Did I mention a variety of stock width? Perfect for my genetically wide feet or perhaps your dainty feet. In the customized version, you can even add your own initials. I also love them because compared to other high-end designer flats, these are actually not as expensive, as say, Valentino Rockstud flats. And, they are not as widespread as Tory Burch flats, and most women I see them on I consider to be âin the knowâ. With end of season sales, you can catch a pair or two on sale. Love them!!!!
tidbit of fashion history:
The origin of the Varina flat (introduced in 2007) was Salvatore Ferragamoâs Vara mid-heel shoe, introduced in 1978. Varina flats were introduced in 2007 and have been a fashion favorite ever since.
obsession #07142013: the only wallet youâll ever have
Images from yoogiscloset.com
obsession name: Louis Vuitton Black Monogram Mahina Leather Amelia Wallet
where to buy: yoogiscloset.com
why the obsession:
A new wallet has been on my wishlist for some time now. However, wallets are tricky â once you have one that you really like (i.e. my gray Coach all-leather wallet that Iâve purchased years ago) itâs REALLY hard to convince yourself to change, but then the longer you wait to buy a new one, the more worn down the wallet gets from use. The more worn down, the more you think you should get a new one, but then you really like it and it has all your cards, old receipts, and loose change and how you really donât want to make the effort to move everything⊠and the cycle goes on. Not to mention the most important fact â that finding a new wallet that you love is a long, thoughtful, evaluative process. It has to meet all the requirements. In any case, Iâve casually browsed my favorite online stores for that dream wallet. I think I found it â in this Louis Vuitton Black Monogram Mahina Leather Amelia Wallet. If I somehow find the funds to make this purchase, Iâm pretty sure itâs the only wallet Iâll ever need.
First off, Iâve always loved the Monogram Mahina leather. Itâs discrete and unique with the monograms in perforations. In black, you almost have to look closer to even realize itâs LV, so itâs perfect for women who donât prefer the flashy all-over logo option. Additionally, not many women carry this line, since the leather is more expensive, so it would definitely be leaning towards the one-of-a-kind category. This wallet being in black makes it timeless, and I love the gold hardware clasp. Feeling the Mahina leather in the store is super soft, and as with all LV leather products, is sure to last forever. The Amelia wallet itself has eighteen card slots and a zipped change compartment, which is an absolute must for any wallet that I love. Since itâs pre-owned, that helps save off some off the regular price (26% off) and itâs in a like-new condition. Dream, dream, dreamâŠ

Yoogiâs Closet also has this Louis Vuitton Ivorie Epi Leather Zippy Organizer wallet that is gorgeeeous!!! (Not sure how an everyday white wallet would do though)
obsession name: World Market Americana Fabric Garlands, World Market Plaid Metal Picnic Basket, World Market Americana Paper Appetizer Cones, World Market Paper Straws, World Market Americana Stars and Stripes Cupcake Kit, World Market USA Burger Press
where to buy: World Market stores or worldmarket.com
 why the obsession:
Happy Fourth of July week!!! Who isnât excited about a nice summer picnic to celebrate our Independence Day? Here in Denver, as Iâve come to learn, we are definitely are obsessed with our summer picnics. Perhaps this can be attributed to our active and outdoors-ey culture, or the fact that there are more than 4,000 acres of parks and parkways within the city, or the fact that there are free jazz concerts in city parks during summer evenings. In any case, you definitely get inspired to step up your picnic game to something more elevated than just bringing a blanket, and what better time to do it in than our Independence Day? Here, I gather my six picks from one of my favorite stores, World Market, to help me achieve a very stylish July 4th picnic.
 World Market Americana Fabric Garlands
How cute are these burlap fabric garlands? They have a homemade, vintage feel that would be perfect to hang around trees in your picnic area.
World Market Plaid Metal Picnic Basket
This basket is the perfect July 4th picnic basket, I like the fact that itâs made out of metal â makes it easy to clean!
World Market Paper Appetizer Cones
Itâs definitely party-and-picnic-trendy to serve appetizers and snacks in cones!
World Market Paper Straws
I remember seeing this in the store and thinking I wanted to get it⊠just because itâs so cute! Unique straws are a cheap way to add flair to those regular party drinks.
World Market Stars and Stripes Cupcake Kit
Because we canât ignore making desserts festive as well. Vanilla cupcakes, anyone?
World Market USA Burger Press
I saw this online and just had to laugh. Iâm not sure how recognizable the shape will be (it also has a âUSAâ engraving on the press) but it looks to be a fun timesaver and even has a removable tray!

obsession #06162013: the summer striped tunic and yellow baubles
obsession name: J. Crew Factory Blue Drawstring Tunic, J. Crew Factory Fresh Kiwi Resin Droplet Necklace, J. Crew Factory Crystal and Neon Stone Bracelet
where to buy: J. Crew Factory Stores and J. Crew Factory online
purchased from: J. Crew Factory Store
why the obsession:
Whoâs ready for summer vacation???! I know I am, and have been on vacation to Florida to visit family. As with any vacation, Iâm sad to see it end so soon, vacations are never long enough. In any case, this vacation was full of eating, beaching, and of course, some shopping! Since I usually buy most things online these days, it was a change of pace to go outlet shopping. In our recent trip to Ellenton, we stopped in to a J. Crew Factory store and scored some awesome deals, everything in the store was an extra 50% off. One of my favorite purchases was this J. Crew drawstring tunic, along with a necklace and bracelet bauble. White and navy stripes with pops of neon yellow? A classic summer combinationâŠ
Iâve been reading that J. Crew factory pieces are not up-to-par with regular J. Crew, but I guess time will tell. In any case, the tunic was really comfortable, and is the perfect beach and post-beach cover-up. The rope detail is really cute and I also love how it adds in shape to the tunic dress. But, my favorite part has to be the price â $36.26 after 50% off.  Who doesnât love a great summer sale?
twin obsession:
This enamel critter elephant charm necklace, also from J. Crew Factory!
obsession name: Sam Edelman Marais Leather Tilda Drawstring Satchel in Creme
where to buy: piperlime.com
purchased from: amazon.com
why the obsession:
Happy Memorial Day to all who celebrate this holiday! Today the first thing we should remember are the men and women who died while serving our country, our prayers and thanks for their great sacrifice. Today also typically marks the âofficialâ start of summer season, and the fact that women are âofficiallyâ allowed to wear white fashion articles. I personally love all fashion things white, except that Iâm always worried of getting everything dirty. This didnât stop me, however, from being drawn to Sam Edelman Marais Leather Tilda Drawstring Satchel in CrĂšme. Not only does Sam Edelman make some fabulous shoes, but I am totally loving the contemporary handbag line as well.
Iâm obsessed with this bag for many reasons. First, it looks expensive with the cream leather and the gold hardware, and I got mine on sale from $278 to $222.40. Some of the well-known handbag designers include Tory Burch, Coach or Michael Kors, but I love the fact that while Sam Edelman is huge in the shoe industry, BUT not many women (yet) are carrying Sam Edelman bags. So it definitely adds a âuniqueâ factor. Also, I love the drawstring shape for the summer, itâs a great alternative to the more popular summer totes. I also love that itâs not logo-crazy, there is just a subtle tag with âSam Edelmanâ on it. I also am obsessing over the unique face of the bag, with the zipper, the studded half-circle and the crisscross detail. I would say the only thing I wish were different is that you could adjust the strap of the bag, it droops a little lower than I would like but that just takes some getting used to. Overall, I love my Sam Edelman summer bag and I canât wait to take her out everywhere!
tidbit of fashion history:
Sam Edelman Shoes is actually the second business for Sam and Libby Edelman. In 1987, they launched Sam & Libby, which they sold in 1996, described in the same fashion ranks as Calvin Klein. According to Mr. Edelman, â⊠I thought there must be some new approach to contemporary footwear, without copying the top end and still giving it a designer name, but having it be affordable.â I could not have described Sam Edelmanâs shoe line any better â they are always on trend without copying, and they have so many pairs of shoes that I consistently lust over. One of my favorite brands indeed! (aol.com)
obsession name: Tiffany & Co. The Great Gatsby Collection Savoy Headpiece
where to buy: tiffany.com
why the obsession:
Last weekend was the hubby and Iâs 4-year wedding anniversary. As part of our celebration, one of our many dates last weekend was to grab some dinner and watch the new release of The Great Gatsby. There are a great many fashion things to obsess about in the movie, but my favorite fashion piece was this Tiffany & Co. The Great Gatsby Collection Savoy Headpiece, famously worn by Daisy to attend one of many Gatsbyâs parties (and where Tom starts growing suspicious of their relationship).  If this does not scream 1920âs glamour, Iâm not sure what else willâŠ
Iâm obsessed with this headpiece for many reasons. First, I have to mention that the headpiece carries a total diamond carat weight of 25.04. Yes, twenty-five point oh-four carats. For normal folk like myself, that is a heck of a lot of diamonds. Oh, and not to mention that they are all round and brilliant, and of course, all conforming to the high Tiffany standards of diamond quality. Second, there are freshwater pearls embedded with the diamonds, adding to the 1920âs luxe factor of the headpiece (not that it needed help in that department). Third, I am obsessed with the feather detachable brooch, that for such an ornate piece, there is a touch of practicality and multi-purpose built into it. Lastly, the Art Deco design of the headpiece is just stunning â itâs classy, vintage and modern all at the same time. While I can dream of receiving this headpiece as an anniversary present (at a cool $200,000), for now I am perfectly happy with my 4 years of happy non-Buchanan marriage and telling all my friends to go watch The Great Gatsby.

obsession name: Sperry Top-Sider Authentic Original Leather Boat Shoe, in Platinum GoldÂ
purchased from: nordstrom.com
why the obsession:
I love April. Not only is it (starting) to be ABSOLUTELY gorgeous outside, but itâs also the month of Friends and Family discounts, and the beginning of spring fashion markdowns. Given that it hasnât really been âspringâ in Denver until a few weeks ago, I love that by the time I actually buy spring fashion (since I can actually start wearing it), everything has already started going on sale! And what woman doesnât love a great deal. One of my (few) April purchases has been this Sperry Top-Sider Authentic Original Leather Boat Shoe in Platinum Gold. It was originally $89.95, but it was marked down to 33% off to $60.26, plus, over Christmas I had won a $25 gift card to Nordstromâs in a raffle drawing, so after taxes and free shipping to my house, I only paid $35.26! Pretty sweet for a very trendy metallic summer shoeâŠ
I absolutely love my Sperryâs! They are very comfortable, first of all. Second, I love that they are metallic, somewhere in between gold and silver, which makes it versatile in my opinion (i.e. since itâs sort of in the middle of both colors, I think you can wear it with either or). I also love that it is the âAuthentic Originalâ design, that is my favorite Sperryâs look. Additionally, this is the perfect summer alternative to my normal black flip-flops, and would go amazing with white shorts or boyfriend jeans. Another shopping win for moi!!!!
tidbit of fashion history:
Sperry Top-Siders were designed in 1935 by Paul Sperry, inspired by his cocker spanielâs ability to maintain traction on a slippery surface (did I mention I love cocker spaniels?) by the grooves on their paws. As a result, he designed the cutting of grooves in the soles of Top-Siders and also gave them a white color to prevent marking on boat decks. Practical, well-designed, fashionable and inspired by cocker spaniels? Iâm a big fan!!!
obsession name: Givenchy Pandora Sugar Leather Bag, Medium
where to buy: bergdorfgoodman.com
why the obsession:
I have to be honest, there are some moments when you first look at something, and you go âooh, that is NOT for meâ. What is odd though, for me, is that after a while, the things I am immediately not drawn to, they actually end up being things that I end up lusting after. For example, when I first saw the Celine Luggage Tote, I thought to myself, âIâm not too sure about those wingsâŠâ and then one day, I see the bag again, and I think, âThat is a gorgeous bagâ. The SAME exact thing happened with Givenchyâs Pandora Bag. At first sight, I was thinking that the classic Antigona was more of my style, but upon further examination, I fell in love more with the Givenchy Pandora Bag, with its unique shape and it is really nothing like what is out there right now. Hence, a new bag crush was bornâŠ
Iâm obsessed with this bag because itâs just so different. Technically, it is shaped like a box (hence its Pandora name), but because it is carried and handled from only one edge of the bag, it actually ends up more like a slouchy bag, halfway between a wide bucket bag and a hobo. It is such a gorgeous shape whether carried using the shoulder strap or by its handle. Of course, it is made in an array of sizes, colors and textures, so that is a big plus as well. I love this smooth lipstick red version, in medium! It is interesting what is happening with bag trends these days, bag designers are all fighting to come up with the next âitâ bag style, relying more on recognition of shape and style rather than all over monogrammed logos. Personally, Iâm a fanâŠ

Lately Iâve been thinking about stepping up my work wardrobe. Since I work from home, my everyday work attire is mostly pajama pants, my college t-shirts, and Tweety house slippers. Every once in a while, I travel for work, which then requires me to go to the other extreme of the work wardrobe spectrum, a full suit and black pumps. However, since the latter is uncommon, I didnât really feel the need to spend the money on a âdesignerâ professional work wardrobe that I will only need to wear every three months or so. But lately, Iâve been thinking that I should, since it is an occasion essentially, and I try to step up my wardrobe in all other occasions, so why not for work? And what better way to dress up my suit than with a pair of classic Christian Louboutin black patent leather pumps? I donât think there is anything betterâŠ
There are many reasons why this dress is Easter perfection. First, I love that itâs a sheath dress, which makes it really appropriate for family gatherings and church service. (P.S. Christmas and Easter always drive me nuts, because Iâm always right on time to service, which means I am standing room only). Second, I love the subtle back â itâs a cutout back, not a low back, so it adds a touch of sexiness but still very elegant. Also notice that there is no lining to the cutout back, such a small detail but definitely thought went into designing this dress. Third, that color!!! Not sure if itâs just the picture, but I am loving the blue-violet color, such a gorgeous unique pastel color for spring. Wouldnât a matching small flower fascinator be simply divine with this dress?
