✨you’re allowed to take breaks.

✨every storm, no matter how long, will pass.

✨you can restart your day at any point.

✨the lives you see displayed on instagram aren’t reality and you aren’t missing out on anything you’re not already experiencing.

✨be gentle towards yourself. forgive yourself.

✨you’re allowed to have mental, emotional, social, and physical limits. you’re also allowed to let people know that.

✨there is no shame in hurting.

✨if you’re struggling because you feel like you aren’t good enough at anything – making friends, sculpting, solving math equations – realize that you should not beat yourself up about it.

✨failure sucks, but it’s the most helpful teacher. normalize failure by talking about it. there is no shame in taking a leap and falling. everyone has failed countless times, no matter how picture-perfect they seem outwardly. recognize failure and take action to work with the lessons it taught you. (all after taking a wallow break to stuff your face with ben and jerry’s chunky monkey while crywatching new girl, of course.)
