Theo .. Chirp..

"thank god your okay... did you get hurt? is pheonix hurt? do you guys need anything?" like always, theo is on his feet, ready to grab anything they might need. he was just so glad to have them back in his arms again.

"Phoenix is fine too... we're okay.. let's just relax for now, alright?"

"...I'm just glad we're all together again... I'm not letting anything tear us apart anymore."

"Knight!! I wanna be knight!! Me and dad be knights!!"

theo had been sitting at the small desk in the room , but when parrot came in and plopped down on the bed theo moved over to sit on the edge of the bed next to him. theo runs his fingers through parrots hair, looking out the window to only see the dark caves . even if they were trapped down in the dark , theo was glad that atleast one of their problems were being solved . "that's a relief," theo says, glancing down at parrot and laying a wing over the macaw.

"Gotta go to Cindercrest, though... not exactly looking forward to that..."

Parrot smiled a little, leaning against Theo and closing his eyes.

God, he hated lying to Theo... but he also didn't want the other worrying about him. They both had enough on their plates... Theo didn't need to worry about his health and everything when he was probably already so stressed...

"I've been fine, Theo..."

"Mm... I'm not really hungry... I ate not too long ago, but I guess a snack would be alright... just grab me some fruit or something."

Theo was a light sleeper. well, now he was. he never used to be, but due to recent events he was never truly, deeply asleep. he shuffles slightly at the shift in pressure against him, letting out a little chirp . he didn't get up though, because he was still tired and wanted to sleep. he slowly and sleepily wrapped his wings around parrot, eyes still closed .

He whispered, laying his head on Theo's chest as he continued watching the other avian.
