Hello, different anon but I literally just go into my car and as I was reading this Taylor swift - fate of Ophelia literally came on on the radio. Creeped me out a little, just had to say something cause that’s either very ironic or smthn else

Not gonna lie, it does seem like going on Fantano's podcast was meant to carry a message of some kind. It wasn't just a thing of 'alright, I'm doing this because it will be fun for me or because I'm a fan'; the Knight of Swords & Six of Swords combo does indicate that Olivia was using this to communicate something specific. But more than it being to spite Taylor or her fans, I think this was her attempt to stir the pot a little and to show or prove herself as someone who's not afraid of being a little controversial, go against the grain or of being associated with people like him - who, unapologetically, have very strong opinions regarding certain artists and their work, and who judge music beyond sales, awards and general popularity. And did she fake being a Taylor Swift fan? No, because I think she actually looked up to Taylor's artistry and mindset as a musician a lot. Yet I could see her overplaying that quite a bit or acting like her fascination with her was more innocent. Because, honestly, I feel like what she wanted was to learn how to be as cutthroat and driven as Taylor. This wasn't just about the music. It was about the ambition and the boldness.

As for what happened between them, it seems like it was a thing of Taylor quickly going from an older-sister sort of figure to her - and being really nice to her, including her in lots of things, promoting her, etc. -, to making it very clear that her main priority will always be business and winning. So, essentially, when Olivia started showing signs of being someone who could become a problem in the future (and stand in the way of Taylor's success) or who wouldn't be kissing her feet and singing her endless praises for the rest of her life, she iced her out and started treating her as she treats everyone else that she wants to surpass or overpower. And that switch up is what made Olivia really upset. She thinks it unfair and a major betrayal (even if she knows Taylor owes her nothing and that this is how the industry works).

Some important decisions have recently been made by either Manon or the label (or both), and those may very well be about her future with the group, more specifically! The Judgement reversed gives me the idea that they're going back on a decision that was made or a question that was brought up before, and so looking for a new/final answer or resolution to that - which I feel like is the thing of her going on hiatus. Now, the Page of Cups at the bottom of the deck tells me that she is actually somewhat satisfied with the way things have been going for her, and sees herself winning something in the end. So, even if these decisions aren't exactly what she wanted, they may still bring her some sort of big reward or she's hopeful that they might.

Also, obviously, the label is not happy to see most people side with her in this situation and I think they didn't expect her to continue to be relevant enough for the general public to keep supporting her and wanting to keep up with her while she's gone from the group either. For some reason, they thought the interest for her would die down during this period of time? But, still, they have been looking for ways to gain ($$$) from that, so it's not all bad for them. She still has a lot of potential and star-power and they see it as their right to make the most of it and benefit from that in one way or another. Meanwhile, they also think she's very overrated and that her hype may not stand the test of time. People online love to talk about her and hyper her up, but will they actually support her (solo) when the time comes? - that's what they have been trying to figure out.

One more thing: the Judgement reversed also makes me feel like they have been trying to avoid going legal with their disagreements, and that may have been a conversation being held not too long ago. Not sure if that will ever be made public, though, yet if it does, now you know it's nothing new.

Personally - in private -, pretty high-maintenance and needy; emotional and emotion-led, yet also capable of using logic when it's needed or when it makes the most sense. So, even though he is very much in touch with his feelings, I would also say that unless he has been really triggered by something/someone, he can keep his composure and good sense with no problem. But, also, someone who may need to be reminded to stay patient from time to time! That may be one of his biggest flaws. And when I say 'high-maintenance', I'm mostly talking about him needing a lot of attention and reassurance. Constant and clear communication is very important to him. Besides, he seems to be someone who likes to be pursued and to see the other person (particularly in romantic relationships) putting a lot of effort into their connection. And when he doesn't, he either makes a big deal out of it - because he's feeling insecure about where the connection or the other person stands, or due to the fact that he feels like he's being taken for granted - or he just detaches completely because he's not about to have his time wasted by someone who won't or can't give him what he needs. And in general, I feel like he's someone who tries his best to stay grounded and to be as authentic and honest as possible with everyone and in every situation, even if they may not like the way he is. On top of that, I'm sure he was raised with good and strong values, and because I feel such a strong connection to the mother/mother figure here, it may be that their relationship to this day continues to force him to keep his feet on the ground (plus what causes him to be so emotion-led and needy too, potentially). However, some people may still say that he's someone who's a bit too cocky and proud at times - yet I feel like that is because there's a very confident boy-ish energy to him still that may make him seem like a person who's full of themselves or a little immature in some aspects. Not always the case and not who he actually is, I think, but I understand how he might appear that way.

It does feel like they may have experimented with it, yes (particularly the open relationship thing). The Five of Pentacles reversed at the bottom of the deck suggests that they are constantly trying to keep the relationship alive and exciting (in that sense), and the Queen of Wands, I would say, can be a sign that she's pretty open-minded and happy to try all sorts of things + the King of Cups reversed indicates that he's not fully satisfied with what this relationship - in a more traditional sense - has to offer. So, although they may not call themselves that or always be into it, I do think they have or have had some sort of similar arrangement in their marriage.

Oh… don't ask her about it lol. The cards took forever to come out and I was already feeling her annoyance. So, based on that, I think the way she has been dealing with these things - immediately as they happen - is by ignoring them or pretending she doesn't know about them. However, that doesn't last long because then, when it's everywhere and everyone is talking about it (or when he reminds her of it, somehow), she either starts feeling really insecure about where they're at in their connection or herself and has a little mental breakdown or loses her cool and really goes off on him. About this particular incident, though, what I see is her initially being upset, then laughing it off as silly little thing and him also telling her that it didn't really mean anything. And for a while there she might have been going between believing that 100% vs coming to terms with the fact that she allows a lot of bullshit to happen in this relationship when she shouldn't. And, in that sense, what bothers her the most is how she's being made to look like a fool; like someone who has no self-respect, no confidence, no common-sense. And her way of making up for it is by faking it, literally… She pretends everything is fine, acts all confident and says a bunch of nonsense, when in reality she doesn't stand by most of that. She doesn't actually feel confident in her relationship; she just wants to, really bad. (And that's why she ignores some issues.)

Now, there have been worse times for them, for sure. At this point she's not nearly as done with him or unhappy with her life as she might once have been. And, in a way, I also feel like she has been using other passions or connections of hers to bring back some of that real confidence and strength that she has been missing and looking for, which is great. So, it may be that she's really making an effort to make this work and to overcome this off period, even when they keep going through a bunch of little problems. And Rocky is simply an obstacle to that sometimes, from her perspective; not the actual cause of it. And so, she doesn't see him as the root of all evil or the one thing she needs to get rid of to be thriving again. But, also, I believe they keep going through phases, so although everything seems somewhat alright at the moment, it may literally go to shit tomorrow and lead to a breakup. You never know with them - it's all up to her mental state and Rocky's ability to play nice enough afterwards.

While I think Jacob provided her with a lot of comfort and Mia provided him with attention - which they both seem to have been needing and/or wanting then -, I'm not sure I would say this was a real affair. Some boundaries may have been crossed, yes, and the chemistry between them reads as having been pretty good, so maybe there was cheating of some sort (from Shia's perspective) but nothing that lasted long enough or that was ever serious enough to be called an 'affair' by most people or to read as that? So, what might have happened here, I feel like, was that Jacob made her feel cared for, seen and joyful again, and Mia felt very connected to him and so gave him a ton of attention. And, as a result of that, they grew a very close friendship bordering a (what I think was) non-intimate fling that made Shia really mad. But beyond maybe over-sharing, talking a little too often for two people who are simply co-workers or sharing a bit of skinship here and there, I don't see much more. Besides, as for her marriage/relationship with Shia (and I just said "open relationship" by accident when re-reading this, so… there's that lol), I also feel like at this point she was already done with it? And I also get that Jacob did like her but I don't think he was that attracted to her and/or willing to cause a lot of drama to be with her romantically or intimately. So, either way, I don't think saying this was an 'affair' makes sense or is accurate. But were they super close? Yes, for sure. Something happened. Maybe not that, but something that a jealous ex could consider cheating, if he's still attached to this other person and/or to their relationship.

And when it comes to Kendall, the timelines might have overlapped a little bit and he may have been looking to distance himself from that situation publicly (so that was a little boost), but at the end of the day, I think he had mostly other motivations.

At this point, they're still only just hooking up, reintroducing themselves to each other and exploring their options, in my opinion, but might as well already be letting people call them a couple in private. However, the Nine of Pentacles reversed at the end of the spread (plus the Queen of Wands rx at the bottom of the deck) tells me that she's not yet super into this or sure that this is what she wants to put time and effort into going forward. It honestly just feels like she's bored and he's an accessible and safe option for her - and that she's currently trying to distance herself, in every way, from the Ethan situation and all of the feelings and experiences attached to it, which this helps with. So, it kind of feels like this is a transitional relationship and phase too? Something to help her end a chapter and begin a new one or find her way once again.

Did she get a ton of help? Yes. But this has also been her whole life and there was no way her hard work wouldn't pay off, especially paired up with her naturally strong/magnetic presence (in public and on stage) and skill. And she was hungry for that fame and for that spot on stage, so... She was going to get there one way or another. However, yes, the Fool at the beginning of the spread makes me feel like she was sort of "groomed" for this role as well and everyone around her made sure that she would get the best opportunities so she would, for sure, succeed. Either way, I also think that her favouritism within Destiny's Child might not have been as extreme or unfair as some people might assume. She carried the group in many ways - charisma, focus, maybe even looks? -, so she naturally just became the "star" and a major moving force for them. So, she had what it took and because of that, it was sort of destiny as well.

(And I'm just now realising how shady and biased this whole answer might sound 😭 not my intention whatsoever!! Not a Beyoncé stan.)

Someone might have at some point hoped for or considered giving a relationship/fling a try here, but the circumstances didn't allow for it to happen then and the thought itself wasn't even anything of substance - probably because of a 3rd party situation, as it seems to me like there were other people involved here. So, what came out of it was more so a good friendship - very trusty and close; genuinely caring -, and they gladly kept it at that.

So, to clear it up: I feel like the thought of "what if" was there for at least one of them, yes, but I don't see either being that much into the other anyway (in a romantic manner), plus someone might have been already in a relationship at the time and that was not going to end.

Lots of drama here and they seem to want more, so I would bet it is PR. And yes, I also see other people being involved in the situation (since The Hanged Man suggests someone being stuck in the middle of something; just hanging in there and/or waiting on the sidelines). And so, in my opinion this is not a committed or exclusive relationship of any type as of yet but, also, given what we're getting regarding their wishes and intentions, they might consider turning it into something more in the future (for the sake of attention/their careers, more so). And for the moment, all I see for them personally is a more hookup sort of situation and a good friendship.

I would say that as of right now most of them are close, yes. The Six of Wands reversed gives me the idea that the friendships/bonds they have go beyond the public eye and their careers, and extend deep into their private lives. So, I do believe some of them to be very good friends or to consider each other as such. However, this obviously doesn't apply to all and to every single connection, plus I think they all still disagree and fight sometimes and may go through ups and downs in their friendships, so it's not like they are bffs forever and all of the time. These are simply just a few solid bonds that make the group feel, overall, close.

like a "fake" idol? an actor type of thing? - that's what I understood from your question anyway, so it's what I'm going to be reading about. if I'm wrong though, feel free to correct me!

Well, because many idols aren't even "real" idols (musicians, performers) to begin with - as they may become trainees just for the sake of it or to become actors, models, dancers, famous in whatever way they can, whatever it may be -, when we ask whether there are "fake" ones, the answer isn't super clear. But if I had to give you one, I would say No. They don't need that. They can just turn any normal person into an idol - because everything about that role is so ambiguous - and that's basically what they do. So, the concept of a 'stand in' in that way isn't really a thing as being an idol has long stopped equating to being a singer/musician/performer, and so many might be considered stand ins when they are essentially still a "real" idol.
