I actually saw the whole animation to "sweat" by bingo bingo and I think it's really interesting when it gets to the lyrics "theh only wanted to have fun, they fell jin love and suffered" pr whatever and I always think how sad it is that the club joined cuz they just wanted to find other nerds that love their own interests too, but like bill fucked it up for everyone and ruined the club constantly and changed the characters i feel like, i haven't watched the full comic but this is my understanding of this, and it makes me so sad. I'm so glad jerry actually like realized and decided to leave but it kinda sucks to think about how this club actually ruined them when they were just losers being losers who just wanted to have fun but they ended up suffering because bill was a pos
