Four New Warriors

"I am young, but I am a Legendary Warrior like the other people I knows! I’m a really strong Warrior too."

Tsukiko was like most children, loose lipped and quick to tell someone everything about themselves. She loved explaining about her Spirits to people- though more just brushed it off as a child’s whimsy’s. They just did not get it at all.

"…a Legendary Warrior you say?"

Well there was one way to find out if this was truth or just whimsical fiction born of a child’s mind.

"If you wanna sees its"

She reached into her bag and pulled out a pale green and grey D-Tector. She kept it outstretched in her hand so that he could see the object.

"If you like talkin’ another way you can Mister. I dun mind none of dat kinda stuffs." she heard the slip up and just guessed.

She smiled in return, putting her hands behind her back.

"A warrior? You seem a tad on the young side to talking of such things."

Come to think of it, his own spirits seemed to be reacting to her. Odd, it was like they were resonating with something. At least she had not been too off put by his verbal slip. He still needed to get used to that.

"I am young, but I am a Legendary Warrior like the other people I knows! I'm a really strong Warrior too."

"That would be most helpful. I am attempting to visit as many historical sites as I can this day."

A warm smile is offered.

"If you like talkin' another way you can Mister. I dun mind none of dat kinda stuffs." she heard the slip up and just guessed.

She smiled in return, putting her hands behind her back.

"Who are ya Mister?"

"Just another curious soul seeking knowledge and enlightenment."

A pause.

"My Uncle is older than you and he is Kouichi Kimura!” he snapped, snarling as he did. He was tempted to simply punch him and walk away. He would get away from the nuts guy now. He put his gaze down and sighed softly.

"I don’t remember," he defended. "I mean, I think I would know if there were killers coming after me." Kouichi gulped and shook his head. "Who would I be working for? I don’t even have my Spirits." Right now. He only had his D-tector in dreams - didn’t he?

The more he stared at him he saw the reason he looked like Kotone. He looked like his Uncle in younger pictures. The blonde took a double take before frowning. “You can’t be that person though- what kind of crap are you pulling!?”

"I’m not pulling anything! I’m telling the truth," for once. Was it karma that this person just didn’t believe him? What was it about his name that made the other think he was lying?

"My name is Minamoto Haruko."

He put on a more calm demeanor, contemplating what he could say. If they were a Legendary Warrior, then divulging information should be alright. But the boy couldn’t tell who or what they might be fighting for.

The more he stared at him he saw the reason he looked like Kotone. He looked like his Uncle in younger pictures. The blonde took a double take before frowning. "You can't be that person though- what kind of crap are you pulling!?"

Not thinking Haruko quickly de-digivolved. Data wrapped around him and revealed a blonde haired teen with blue eyes. He stared at the person, blinking because he reminded Haruko of Kotone for some off reason. Maybe it was because he had a feminine look and his hair was black? He shook the thoughts away, remembering the problem.

"You…saw me didn’t you?"

He couldn’t help thinking of Izumi for a moment.

There wasn’t much time to process everything, however, before the stranger had converged on him. “What!” Kouichi grit back just as hostile. “The real question is who are you!” With one motion, the warrior had detached themselves from the blond.

"My name is Minamoto Haruko."

He was fighting with a creature that almost resembled a giant lizard- except for the wood like appearance and the burning leaves on it. He knocked it back and watched it fall over. It snarled before data covered it and it was replaced.

It looked like a human child- but they were concealed- only tufts of red hair showing. “Stupid Wood Warrior- Wood Executioner kill you eventually. Wood Executioner leave you for now, but shall return.” she growled- jumping back and running off.

Kouichi knew that there wasn’t a lot of greenery around this particular area. That, and this somehow felt like one of his dreams. The combination of which pulled Kouichi forward into a misty clearing where he could hear yelling and fighting.

When the fog died down, Kouichi found a familiar shape. For a moment, he couldn’t believe it, but that didn’t stop him from calling out the name -

“Arbormon?”

"You...saw me didn't you?"

She was gonna surprise him- he would never see her coming. A mischievous smile played on the girls face as she took the sheet and threw it over the males head, laughing and hiding behind a chair as she did.

It was oddly quiet, but Takuya was too busy playing Mario Kart on his 3DS to notice. He was so into his game that he didn’t even notice the young girl sneaking up behind him until it was too late. The gogglehead screamed in surprise, dropping his 3DS and flailing his arms in an attempt to get the sheet off.

She was giggling, trying to cover her mouth to quiet herself. She had scared her Other Daddy- it was perfect. She looked up when he cussed though before a low and childish sound escaped her. "Ooooooooo! You said a bad word!" she called, sticking her head out from behind the chair. She did not seem to realize that this broke her cover- she was to busy with him cussing.
