I’m sorry but I got serious chills listening to this and I feel like I’m about to cry

This is a playlist of my very favorite Nick cave songs in honor of his new album, Ghosteen. In no particular order.

I can’t believe how difficult it was to pick one song from this album but my other favorites are And No More Shall We Part, Fifteen Feet Of Pure White Snow, The Sorrowful Wife, Oh My Lord, and As We Came Along This Road.

It also reminds me of the short documentary (or whatever you’d call it) about Nick called Stranger In A Strange Land. I know that’s a reference to something else but still it reminds me of this song.

I don’t know exactly what it is about this one that I love so much. Maybe I feel some kind of kinship with the good son (even though I’m a daughter lol) because I try really hard to help my parents but often fail. Idk but it’s incredible

Honorable mentions from this album are Today’s Lesson, Call Upon the Author, Albert Goes West, and More News From Nowhere. Even though really the entire album is amazing and is so overlooked imo...

This is Deanna live, I like the studio version too but this one just has a lot of power and I love it so much, one of the first songs I really loved from him.
